SF90 Ferrari SF90 XX Stradale and Spider


The Ferrari SF90 Stradale (Type F173) is a mid-engine PHEV (plug-in hybrid electric vehicle) sports car produced by Ferrari. Production: 2019–2024 (Stradale/Spider), 2023– (XX Stradale/XX Spider). Model years: 2020–present. Successor: 849 Testarossa.
Sport Auto was gonna do a Supertest with Senna, but something changed. This is from the Hockenheimring track test in issue 1-2020 (don't mind Google Translate messing up the word aero for acro):

Well I believe Senna could do around 6:50 laptime in the hands of Gebhardt. Or even under 6:50...
 
But: 0-100 km/h in 2,3, 0-200 km/h in 6,6 seconds - the fastest car they've ever measured. :D

Not for long though...the Taycan Turbo GT did 2,3/6,4s in the same issue 😋

No Supertest

Which is very surprising. Not for the Ferrari, I did not expect one anyway. But that there is no Supertest at all in this issue...
In the editorial, they state that the Taycan Turbo GT was planned for this issue but did not get a Nordschleife Time due to bad weather (it's been raining like crazy in Germany this early summer).

But then why not post the GT4 RS MR like announced, why not post the Ferrari after all? We know they have got laptimes for these...

I just really hope that Ferrari does allow the publishing of the Nordschleife Laptime but after this test, I have some doubts. In the whole article, there is not one word about an upcoming Supertest...

Unexpected colour choice. Bright green shades like these are more common on Lamborghinis and feel "wrong" on a Ferrari. However there are going to be lots of SF90 XX in red or black. Might as well choose a colour that will make his car unmistkable. It looks better in real life photos than the configurator.

It's a dreadful colour choice for a Ferrari. As good as that Pista looks in that green, some colours are just verboten in certain cars - well, for me, personally. Green on a Ferrari, Guards Red on a Porsche, yellow on an M5...

I'm sure Shmee150 is all excited about exercising his creative license but - just like his terrible choice of scheme on his STO - perhaps he needs to appreciate that restraint not only looks classier from the off but also safeguards longevity and resale value.

The yellow accents on the STO were nasty. He paid the price when it came time to sell the car. It took many many months to sell. I dont loe his SF90 XX spec but understand that for content purposes he need to occassionally be bold.

If Shmee had any balls and really wanted to out himself he should have gone with the rainbow colours like the YouTube render. I find his green quite uninspiring, if you're going to go green go GREEN like Jay Kay!
