I agree but all of these brands have to keep pushing the performance envelope to stay relevant. Look at how wild the GT3 RS has become.
Unfortunately we have reached diminishing returns with power. Adding another 150-200hp to an SF90 would not tangibly improve the as much as big aero upgrades.

However, this is an extreme car for grand prix circuits. You couldn't legally exploit 50% of its power on public roads.

Yeah, I get that, it's just odd considering that most, if not all, modern Ferraris have add all their aero bits integrated to the body. If my memory serves me, LDM almost mandated that all aero elements be integrated within the bodywork and it's continued on since. I can't think of the last production Ferrari that had a tacked-on wing.

Here's some of them.🙂

Here's some of them.🙂
Info is completely wrong. To start with, that's a 288 GTO Evoluzione, which was the test bed prototype for the F40.
Then, that's a F40 LM or the lighweight (can't tell, seems LM)
Finally, that F50 is a F50 GT1 prototype, Which I think two were build, as Ferrari were thinking racing them and then abandoned the project. Very different from the F50 road car.

It was a picture to highlight the spoilers some Ferrari's wore and the ones that didn't or the aerodynamics changes from F40/F50 to Enzo/Laferrari. Nothing more nothing less. It's come full circle.

I didn't have time to get each one, I've been busy and could of explained it better too.🙂

I remembered the F40 LM was a track-only proposition, but forgot about the F50 GT1's existence.

Tacked-on wing not withstanding, I am not crazy about the SF90 VS' visual aesthetics based on the purported uncamo'ed spy pic. There's too many GTO-inspired vents. I am absolutely sure they critically serve a function and is akin to a 911 GT3RS, but coupled with the wing, it looks a tad boy-racerish.

Little news about the SF90 VS

- VIP Preview start June 20th for EU and US clients.
- Both Coupe and Aperta/Spider will be show at the évent.
- The public launch will take place just after the VIP and press event.

And still no infos on power and mass of this VS/LM SF90.

Find on ferrarista.club

That's an incredible find man Where it originated is almost as important as sharing it. Now let's see if we can secure some pictures of it!

There was an English manufacturer that wasn't best pleased if I remember correctly! LOL!🙃

Some of the details I received.

- Power 1030hp (Combined).
- 0 to 100 km/h in 2.3s and 200 km/h in 6.5s.
- New high performance braking system.
- Superb seats and especially carbon door panels.
- No roll bar available.
- Full carbon bodywork available as an option.
- No boot.
- Enormous work on the car's on-track performance.
- Coupé and Aperta both have rear wings.
- Ferrari says it has made a track car with road homologation.
