SF90 Ferrari SF90 XX Stradale and Spider

The Ferrari SF90 Stradale (Type F173) is a mid-engine PHEV (plug-in hybrid electric vehicle) sports car produced by Ferrari. Production: 2019–2024 (Stradale/Spider), 2023– (XX Stradale/XX Spider). Model years: 2020–present. Successor: 849 Testarossa.
Coupe looks really cool and is more special than the Spyder.
Front bonnet is clearly inspired by the F50. Sucks that these hardcore versions get rid of storage space up front though.

It's faster than the Revuelto on paper, but expected a bigger change.
I think it will have a hard time competing against the eventual Revuelto SV. Name could have been LM instead of XX.

$800K rumored. Slots are available.

For track biased cars, spec sheets can’t convey cornering grip and speed. Look at the Nurburgring delta between the GT3 and GT3RS as a reference. 10second difference despite a small low double digit difference in power.

Who knows, though, their downforce numbers don't really make sense to begin with. The claim for the SF90 overall is 390kg... and the claim for the wing alone of the SF90 XX is 315kg (both at 250km/h). So just adding the wing to the SF90 should be resulting in more like 700kg of downforce (not to mention all the other aero improvements like bigger splitter, fender vents, etc, - which would be adding more downforce on top). Yet it's only 530kg. So maybe the car actually does produce 530kg, but the 390kg claim for the SF90 was total BS and it was more like 200kg. If that was the case, then improving the downforce by more than 150% would certainly justify the design. That said, it could also very well be the case that both claims are BS...

i've felt the same way about the new GT3 RS, which claims to have as much downforce as the Mclaren Senna, yet somehow none of the crazy aero bits

but the again, GT3 cars doesn't have all that crazy aero either

They should have just got rid of all the hybrid doodads - would have been 300kg lighter and a better track car.

And on top an ECU emissions compliant remap would have got 50-75hp even if they were being ultra cautious. More likely far more.

What crazy aero bits is the 992 GT3RS missing? o_O I thought the car was so full of them you could not possibly put anything more on! It even has aero shaped front wishbones. Honestly I have no clue what they are even gonna do for the 992.2 GT3RS to make it faster. Maybe drivetrain stuff, but aero is pretty much maxed out.

Very talented guy he has designed with the very best.

In a hybrid with batteries, electric motors and a boatload of wiring that comes with this, then couple to ICE with two turbos and associated cooling...

... I wasn't expecting any weight reduction. It's a new era. 1600 kg is now lightweight.

The Holy Trinity previewed what to expect I guess when they launched. Yes 1600KG is fine for a hybrid although Czinger are claiming some interesting numbers the 21C hybrid.

I like this car more at this initial stage, than the TypeF173 as it was codenamed then onto the SF90 Stradale.
