Hot! Ferrari F12 Berlinetta vs. Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4

The Ferrari F12 by a landslide. So perfectly proportioned that aesthetically it is not even funny. That classic short decklid and long sweeping hood is to die for.

With a pragmatic view, the Aventador is everything a top flight Lambo needs to be: it's dramatic, a little mad, visually arresting, wild and altogether unmistakable. As ever, for me though, it's also over the top and lacks elegance in the purest sense of the term.

The F12 is just dumbfoundingly drop dead gorgeous. I'm completely bemused as to how Ferrari manage to marry beautifully sculptured form with functionality. (For example the front inlets that vent into the bodywork channels behind the front wheel arches.)

I also like the lift-back rear and the (re-interpreted from the 458 Spider) hammerhead theme on the rear bumper.

I love the Aventador. Ferrari's design to me is still the more "sensible" when compared to Lambo, and that is what gives Lambo it's soul. If you tell me Gallardo or F458Italia, it will be the Italia. But when I'm spending ridiculous amount of money, I want the car to be just as ridiculous, thus my choice is Aventador.

I like the Aventador, it looks awesome, but in fact just like the Reventon, so there is nothing new. The F12 is a Ferrari you can't say anything. The Aventador is a different kind of car, it is for showing off, a bling bling car for rappers and gangsters. Not that I don't like but just a different thing. IMO Ferrari and Rolls Royce are the oposite of Lamborghini and Bentley.

Design wise I always choose the Lambo over the Ferrari but not this time.
I prefer the Rear-mid engined Lambo configuration more but I'll take the Ferrari instead as I dislike Aventador's exterior too much

Most probably, yes. But let's wait and see
There are enough supercars that are about to be released and I like some of them so I'm ok with however the Cabrera will look like

Lambo on looks alone. The Lambo looks the part of a supercar. The Ferrari doesn't give you the 'Get out of my way' feeling when looking at it.

Based on purely looks I would go for the Ferrari, it's a thing of beauty to me.

Honestly they are both insanely awesome. Ferrari has mastered the art of combining function and form into one drop dead gorgeous package, while Lamborghini continue to do what they do best by creating this extreme fighter jet for the road. It comes down to which car can offer the more dramatic and involving driving experience, so I can't make up my mind until we read some comparisons.

In pictures the Ferrari looks better, but. I'm sure when u see the Lambo passing slowly in front of u, u will see something that's Way beyond ur eyes.

Tough one...either way you can't lose. Objectively, the Lambo has a lot going for itself...great powertrain, CF construction, unique and definitive design. But the id wants the F12 a little more.
