I think I may have seen one of those today in Munich. It sped by so fast I really didn't have a chance to even look at it properly but there was something "refreshing" about it.

I am on my third Geländewagen. All silver. First an '03 G500, then an '04 G55 and now my '08 G55. I love them all. Just got my first ticket here in NJ. A cop did not know the exhaust sound of a G55 and so he decided I had to "gun" the engine to enter traffic. What an ignorant fool. Careless driving, he called it. Pure ignorance. But it was still a lot of fun.

I totally agree. Since I don't need any points, I've made a tape of the sound and I'll go to court. I hope the cop attends and learns something. I'd even let him drive it, with the windows open, for sound effects.
