thanks for posting. Both are fabulous cars. Would prefer the F01 over the Panamera though. Love the design and the classic interior compared to the Porsche. And those rims are to die for.

Like I wrote in another thread

German carmag AutoZeitung had a test between Panamera Turbo and Alpina B7, a test the Panamera won because it had better driving dynamics. Panamera was the sporty choice and Alpina B7 for those who want a comfortable car.
Their conclusion: Panamera is a roomy sportscar and Alpina B7 is a sporty luxury limosine.

I think I saw my first lost for Panamera today. Swedish automotorsport compared it to RS6 and E63 and Panamera for last place

I bet it lost on fuel economy or pricing. Swedish car magazines are always too rational when judging luxury cars.

The panamera did the 0-100km/hr sprint in 3.9sec while the B7 did it in 5.1secs ...

The Panamera is very tempting... but personally, I'm still so in love with the B7 TOUGH CHOICE !!
Wouldn't it be great if the CS was revived to kick Panamera's ass

Tough choise! I guess the Volvo inside me will wake up, so I'll have to go with the more comfort oriented B7!

You can't go wrong with any of those though!

I'd go with the B7 here. But with a different wood color, deeper.

There's something with Alpina, it makes a BMW irresistible. I love their subtle, somptuously elegant bodykit, their stunning wheels, their discreetly enhanced interiors. Somptuous.

Mercedes has no such fantastic tuner, only Porsche's Ruf is similarly amazing (I know, i know, both are carmakers and no tuners, but still...).

I didnt read the complete article but the Panamera was the best allrounder but they gave the nod to RS6 and second place to E63.
