New BMW 3-Series saloon gets over 2,500 changes. Question is, will you notice them?

Most notable aspects of the newly facelifted BMW 3-series? You still can’t have a 323d and the best bit of Efficient Dynamics (the stop-start function) is still missing from the six-cylinder cars. There are reasons for both these omissions – in fact we’ve been given five in total, none of which are wholly convincing.

That’s what’s been left out, so what has been added in? Well, somewhere north of 2,500 changes according to BMW. Who counted? And does the styling qualify as one change, or does each altered line add to the tally? Aside from the bonnet creases and light clusters it’s hard to put a finger on the exact visual modifications, but what matters is that the bodywork now looks a touch neater and sharper, if still neither as bold nor interesting as a C-class.

The design is individual and which car looks the best differ from person to person, at least what I've been told lately.

and I've seen the facelift and I like it better than C-class.

I liked it better than C class even before facelift when it's fitted with the right options.

if they said this about driving dynamics and driving fun then it would be loud. But they only talked about the exterior design and you know design is personal

I think it is a bit hard to say like EVO that this is not a proper FL at all... but then again, they are more occupied by how the cars move and feel.

Yeah it's personal,i personally love this FL MUCH better than the old one,the rear looks like if it belongs to a next gen 3er

The new face of this car is absolutely awesome! Changes are not that big but are very significant ...!

Never had an idea, a face-lift can make entire car, look that different ...!

Correct. It's manual standard, either automatic or DKG, the latter being more expensive obviously. The States won't get it yet.

Only E92/E93 335i got the (non-M) DCT. E90/E91 335i still have the Steptronic.
