Yea...Mercedes-Benz would make it like the one E-class I actually hate. Hopefully this one will look better in person. The photos GBOY posted in the E-class thread look promising.

It is quite a looker, I promise. But then again, I really like the W124.

Absolutly! the new E is a mess, the C.class in avantgarde trim is sex on wheels.

It won't, if you already dislike the 124 and likes. The car does look squared, even if not as much as in pics.

Maybe, but I will still check it out. I hated the new 7 series until I saw it drive up beside me so who knows....I might change my mind. Then again I might not.

IMO the E looks great in person, but really it comes down to your preference. If the headlamps and taillamps look japanese to you, then that's the same way that they'll look in person. But seeing the car in the flesh does help.
