Just look t those pics. Extraordinary!!

Let's just, for a moment put everything from tech to performance aside between the 3 main rivals and the XJ + Lexus LS. Looks wise the F01 is BY FAR the best looking of them all and as you said klier one of the best looking BMW sedans ever made

Apart of the FUGLY steering wheel, everything else is just perfect!

Looks and user friendliness IMO 100% perfect!

(PS: I HATE the column stalk type, cruise control on the 1er and 3er's it's fugly, skimpy and cheap)

Indeed taste differ Honestly one of the outstanding features form the day of launch (F01/2) the steering wheel impressed me most in the cabin.

I'm fine with the steering wheel and the gear lever, what I absolutely cannot stand are the Individual interior choices.

If you go for the "Full champagne merino leather", for instance, nearly everything is covered in the same sickening hue of champagne. Absolutely dreadful in my opinion.

I myself was never a big fan of the "Individual" option and its is as you say Kowalski, if I want Individual - I would prefer tailor made to MY taste and preference. Not already tailored interiors of which you can choose between a certain number of choices.

That pic above in particular drew my attention as well. It's seriously off the charts. Those proportions simply are beyond the 5er, sorry.

Sorry klier but I have to disagree. The 7er has excellent proportions but on the F10 5er everything, and I mean everything, is perfect when it comes to proportions and the side profile. If you want to be really nitpicky you could say ultimately the 7er looks a bit stretched; the hood is just a tad too long in relation to the other parts of the body and the front overhang is slightly long.
What we agree on though is that they are both lookers.

^And not only that, the shoulder line on the 7er is way too high, and the front lights are not aggressive enough, and the front bumper is rare.

The 5er is perfect, the 7er "just" very good.

bmer, SKY, let's agree to disagree I most certainly do not feel the same way.
The shoulder line is better on 7er by far, and what BM calls a too long hood, I call better proportions
I do however think the 5er has a better front bumper, but that will surely be fixed on the 7er LCI..

But as said, it's total nitpicking. Both are great!!
