Gallardo [2003-2013] Driving Impression: 2010 Lamborghini Gallardo LP 560-4 Spyder

The Lamborghini Gallardo is a sports car built by the Italian automotive manufacturer Lamborghini from 2003 to 2013. It is Lamborghini's second car released under parent company Audi, and the best-selling model at the time with 14,022 built throughout its production run. On 25 November 2013, the last Gallardo was rolled off the production line. The Gallardo was replaced by the Huracán in 2014.

As they say, "Hold onto your hats." In this case, it's for 4.0 seconds.

That's how long Lamborghini claims its new Gallardo LP 560-4 Spyder needs to get to 62 mph. Keep popping away at the right-side upshift lever and you'll finish up just a tick over 200 mph.

Lamborghini unveiled its newest iteration of the Gallardo at the last Los Angeles Auto Show and the first thing that caught our attention was the 560, as it has that much horsepower, boosted along by 398 lb.-ft. of torque. All this comes to an added 40 horsepower over the previous Gallardo, along with a cut in overall weight by 44 lb. for the all-wheel-drive package.
