Hi guys, please if any of you have any inside information on whether the VAG Group's new Audi 3l Tdi with twin-turbo's and 230kw/650Nm will make it into the Porsche Cayenne, I would be very grateful. I am about to order the Cayenne Diesel, it's fantastic, but I would be very grim if a "Diesel S" with the new twin turbos comes to market after I've placed my order. Thanks!

This won't come as much comfort to you but I did ask the same question when I first knew about the A6 getting the engine and the Porsche dealer knew sweet FA about when Porsche might get it. I think sometimes they are the last people ever to hear anything.

Personally I'm of the opinion it will happen in 2013 because the Cayenne badly needs this engine to remain competitive with the X5/6 but don't despair because my chipped 3.0d is a rocket ship that pulls a ton in 15 seconds and has lost none of its economy in the process.
