All God’s children got rhythm, goes the old line, but let’s face it, some people just aren’t known for their grace on the dance floor. But any doubts about the Germans will vanish after you check out this video. Even this 2009 Mercedes-Benz SL550 has got some serious moves down.
A dancing Benz? Yep. It’s actually the two-seater’s Active Body Control at work, explains Hans Multhaupt, the Mercedes executive who oversaw the development of the 2009 Mercedes-Benz SL. Those rascally German engineers recorder some music on a laptop computer and connected it to the suspension’s digital control system which, to be honest, can’t tell the difference between a piano and a pothole. But the effect just might be good enough to get this SL550 a spot on Dancing With the Stars, even if it’s just driving some of the human celebrities home after taping.
