Phaeton Current-generation Phaeton not coming to the USA...

According to this report, it states that the Volkswagen Phaeton is not in the cards (for the USDM) anytime soon. To read into this, what I figure is not the current generation, though facelifted, but, perhaps the next-generation, I'm sure we'll know more as time goes on. A Phaeton would be nice, but, look what we already have from VAG/Auto Union, the new Audi A8/A8L/S8, and coming up, an A7/S7/RS7, and an A9 reported in development, along with a Lamborghini Estoque to be based on it's platform, and the Porsche Panamera, and the Bentley Continental Flying Spur, plus, a reported 4-door coupe for Bentley in development. It makes sanse, given that the current one didn´t seel too much over there.
