SLR McLaren (C199) Chrome Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren spotted in… where else but Dubai


The Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren C199 is a grand tourer jointly developed by Mercedes-Benz and McLaren Automotive. Body styles: C199 coupé, R199 roadster, and Z199 speedster. The "SLR" name is an abbreviation for "Sport Leicht Rennsport" (Sport Light Racing), and a homage to the Mercedes-Benz 300 SLR (W196S) which served as the car's inspiration. Production: 2003–2010 (2,157 produced). Model years: 2004–2010.

Where else would you see a chromed out Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren than in the land of the chromed out Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano, a matte-gold Nissan GT-R and a matte-black Bugatti Veyron. GlobalMotors reader Francis caught this chromed out SLR in the parking lot outside of the Mall of the Emirates.
Of course other cars you can catch in the pictures are a Porsche 911 Turbo, Lamborghini Gallardo, Bentley Flying Spur and a Rolls-Royce Phantom Drophead Coupe.
Just another day at the mall in Dubai.
