^ It's not like the LSD and hydraulic steering haven't been invented yet. The M135i could be better using technology available right now, it's not the same as comparing the iPhone 3 to the latest technology.

But then you would be comparing a real M135i to a hypothetical M135i with LSD and hydraulic steering. What's the point when it doesn't exist? Makes no sense. The M135i got it's rating for what it is and not for what it could have been.

Star ratings is a non-standardised gauge, i mean the Honda Jazz likely got 5 stars right? Then you come and compare the Honda Jazz to a Mitsubishi Lancer Evo something which may have only got 4.5 stars, so you suggest the Jazz is a superior car or faster etc. to a Lancer Evo? It's just that the Jazz is 5 star for what it is meant to be, in its class, in its range.
To me though, the M135i doesn't deserve top marks because it has that ugly front.

I gave my 'two pence' on the YT channel already.

With the recent F32 435i and its M Performance kits (340 PS, LSD, no less) and the M Sport steering wheel being something not that 'new' (it's already a 1-year old product), I can only say BMW AG didn't put any effort at all in this car. It's just a 135i with gimmicks, or an E87 130i M Sport like the old days. They must offer the M Performance kit now. That's no excuse.

Catchpole was the one with the guts to say that the A45 is a boring car. It's just a faster Evo X/WRX STi on a B-road and a launch-car on straight lines. You have to keep admiring the interior to justify your purchase. Give me a 991 Boxster.
