New update. I have a client that bought our 1st ML320CDI and he is averaging 24.9 mpg after 1,047 miles. Not bad at all.
I drove an R320 CDI on a trip this weekend and got 25.6 averaging 76mph over about 300 miles. This is an awesome highway vehicle. Better than the S in my opinion. I was typically at about 80-85 mph and this thing was so smooth and quiet. Not to mention how perfectly stable and balanced. i would pick this over the GL in a heart beat.
However, finding ultra low sulfur fuel has been a pain in the butt.
