The Bugatti Veyron EB 16.4 is a mid-engine sports car designed and developed in Germany by the Volkswagen Group and Bugatti, and manufactured in Molsheim, France by French automobile manufacturer Bugatti. It was named after the racing driver Pierre Veyron.

I`m quite sure of that but if I`m paying $1.3million for a supercar the sound of the engine should impress me, even when idling.

Honestly, I think it sounds okay, on high revs better of course. But anyway it's not too bad.
It sounds loud, rough, heavy and very powerful, it suits the Veyron.
And in my opinion it kind of sounds like a WWII fighterplane when it's idling.

Engines notes are like music. When the car get this expensive the notes should have pleasant nuances thats should make my hands go!
Even at idle.
I have never herd a supercar at idle sound so trashy as this one. Maby I`m too pickey but to me this is like buying a fine very expensive Italian suit without the hems tailered. Everything should be near perfect IMO!

It does sound like something from public transit doesn't it? When I think about all the moving parts and complexity of such and engine no wonder it doesn't sound so good, its too much "stuf" under there.
I still want one though, if for no other reason than the shock factor. It looks like something from outer space compared to all the "regular" cars around it in that video.
