Hot! Bugatti Teases Mysterious New Model With X-Shaped Taillights

Latest news, trending discussions, reviews, and major updates
Sincerely hope they take this thing to LeMans and battle the SCG 007 and the Toyota, would make for great spectator sport.

It seems to be a hybrid - no engine sound in the first part of the video but in the second part, there is.

Maybe it is a reskinned 919!

Now it had slicks on that video. So if it's a track only car I'd be disappointed because most manufacturers won't allow owners to take them home. That's a deal-breaker to me. :nono:

Road legal or track only? It looks like Bugatti CLK GTR equivalent.

Looks like a Le Mans racer to be honest.

Maybe its Bugatti's LMH entry? I guess that's just wishful thinking.

My thought too.

Would love that but no way VW is spending money on Bugatti to go racing.

Why not? They don't do it with any brand in this class. They should, as more brands are needed.

Or maybe Rimac has something to do with this.......

I doubt Rimac are capable of dealing with hybrids.

1200kg....1800HP = 0.67kg/HP

Or the drivers dick is 2/3 its normal size after driving this car lol.

You guys are very optimistic with the weight. The engine alone is 436kg and the gearbox is 124kg. Then the diff + propshaft capable of handling 1600 Nm of torque would be at least another 40kg. So that's 600kg already. Then add the chassis and the body which on car this big would be at least 200kg (made from CF), and wheels with suspension which would be at least another 200kg combined and you are already at 1000kg. It's gonna be a minor miracle if they get the weight under 1500kg. I would guess more like 1600kg kerb. Which is still 400kg (or more) weight saving compared to the Chiron, mind you. Not even sure removing so much weight from a car is possible, even if the interior is completely race car stripped.
