X3/X4 BMW X4/X4M LCI Spyshots

The BMW X3 is an SUV manufactured by BMW since 2003, based on the BMW 3 Series platform. Now in its fourth generation, BMW markets the car as a Sports Activity Vehicle, the company's proprietary descriptor for its X-line luxury vehicles. The BMW X4 is a compact luxury crossover SUV manufactured by BMW since 2014. The X4 is widely considered as a "coupé" version of the X3, trading its practicality with a sloping rear roof which offers a sportier styling. BMW has indicated 2025 will be the X4's final model year.

X3M rocks the alloys from the M3/M4 with re-profiled Aerodynamic package makes it look far more broader and far more purposeful.
The current packet is too tame for an M.

Personally I think the larger grille from the M3/M4 would work especially well on a taller vehicle like X3M and X4M.
Hopefully,The new grille, although not expected to be as large? Goes frameless too.

Good points. It would make sense for the M variants to adopt a few bits of aggression from the M3/M4 such as horizontal slats on the kidneys, bulkier diffuser and angular lines on the front bumper.

BMW have stated that the grille on the M3/M4 will not be shared with any other current models.

2022 BMW X4 Facelift Spied In Detail, Inside And Out
Smaller lights outside, bigger touchscreen inside.

Our first taste of the refreshed BMW X4 came in September 2020. Since then, there hasn't been much change in the level of camouflage but then again, test vehicles aren't wearing very much to begin with. The updates are relegated to minor tweaks at the front and rear, but these latest shots give us our first look inside the crossover. Yes, there are minor changes there as well.
In fact, we'll start our journey inside where we catch some notable differences. It's not a complete re-write, as the door panels and overall dash layout look the same. There's a digital instrument panel behind a steering wheel that shows just a few stylistic differences on the spokes. The center stack is mostly concealed by covers and testing gear, but the infotainment screen is slightly larger. We also see a redesigned center console with a small shift stalk, but at least a defined shift stalk is still part of the formula.

As for the exterior, camouflage is still heavy around the grille but the latest shots get us closer than ever for an extremely detailed look. We know new headlights are coming, and they're slimmer with an ode to the lenses on the updated 5 Series sedan. As for the grille, it looks like BMW will keep a relatively small kidney as opposed to the polarizing design on the 4 series. Minor changes to the front fascia are likely, and the grille might stretch a little bit in size but don't expect anything drastic. The same can be said for the rear, which also gains updated lights.

Powertrain options are expected to carry over throughout the model lineup, though there's always the possibility of a change in engine mapping to dish up a bit more power. Small suspension adjustments might show up as well, but again, nothing extraordinary.
Look for an official reveal later in 2021.

These new headlights look so much better than before, same with the bigger grille. The whole front looks more purposeful and 'mean'.
And the gear lever area is now in line with the newer models, I didn't expect that. They didn't bother with the 5er facelift. I wonder what else they changed for the interior....

Are they really launching the iX3 as a pre LCI model? Seems so backwards.....

It looks like it’s getting the dash from the G20, but still retaining the same door cards.
Finally - a shame the 5 series couldn’t adopt the X5s interior style.
