They can only produce a limited number. It's not a suitable tool for a long term plan.
You have literally not a single idea what you're talking about yet again. Mr BMW product manager.

I'm a bit confused too. The report starts with "Alpina is not a trim level." I don't know what that means or if @bmwblog can reveal much more at this point, so we'll see.Is it gonna be the B7 first? I thought they were talking about the concept going into production.
With all this information, I think he should join the Mercedes team. His ideas might offer a solution to the declining sales. You have literally not a single idea what you're talking about yet again. Mr BMW product manager.
Too early to say? But I reckon we are going to see a Skytop/Speedtop situation develop here. They can only produce a limited number. It's not a suitable tool for a long term plan.
If the effect of the attendees was 10% of what happened online, it was very likely, or something more like the Continental...Too early to say? But I reckon we are going to see a Skytop/Speedtop situation develop here.
Well, it was approved and mules were even seen on the street, but the 2008 housing bubble crash led to its cancellation. I remember most manufacturers' sales falling by up to 50% and GM going bankrupt!Another BMW AG concept that triggered a tsunami-sized wave of enthusiam way back in 2007:

And it came within a hair's breadth of actually being produced in nearly identical form.
But at least a good deal of it's design language was transported to later F01, F10 and F12/13/06 model lines. Hopefully, we'll see at least that degree of design transfer (hopefully even more) in the case of the Vision ALPINA.
The 2008 global economic crisis caused serious problems for BMW. The company's sales dropped sharply in 2009. Not only the CS but also the X7 had to be removed from production plans.Another BMW AG concept that triggered a tsunami-sized wave of enthusiam way back in 2007:

There is spy pictures of a CS nose on a F02.I did not know the CS was approved and then cancelled...
Interestingly, I do think the car didn't actually age as well as some of the other concepts. It has some comical (headlights) or somewhat ugly (the cut character line and rear lights) design elements going on. The overall proportions remain excellent however.
Me too! TBH ... The M4 convertible based 1st Bovensiepen model ... with a rumored 400k pricetag next to this Vision model is just a joke. Would I be Bovensiepen... I would be ashamed.Curious to hear what the Bovensiepen‘s think of it?

The exterior of the Bovensiepen is cool and it probably drives well. However the interior is totally off putting. The LCI 3series dashboard looks too economy in a 400k car.Me too! TBH ... They would be better off buying pre-lci cars are donor, and replacing switch gear with ones made from real aluminum or other materials.
I agree there is the 5, 7 and 8 series to use! It would be tragic for a €400k "bespoke" bar to look less premium inside than an 8-series with extended leather. They would be best off not offering an old 4er cabrio for 400k
