Featured thread highlighted on the GERMAN CAR FORUM main page.
I agree there is the 5, 7 and 8 series to use! It would be tragic for a €400k "bespoke" bar to look less premium inside than an 8-series with extended leather.

This interior is absolutely perfect.

Exactly my taste. The reason why I like the 8er.

Essentially handed a brand with a blank slate to express more individuality and luxury with less volume. Whilst Grand-Klasse Coupe’s falter in its Klasse. These ultra luxury Coupes find a select audience. It’s clever to discontinue high end models like the 8er and XM but rebirth them as Alpina’s but in a higher segment.
Impressed by how the key features of the Vision Alpina even works as an SAV as well as a Gran Coupe.

For a while, my enthusiasm regarding BMW AG design "embarked on a hiatus". As of maybe 2018, round abouts. But as of more recently, BMW AG design is simply on fire.

Sure, simply my humble, non-professional, subjective perceptions. Whatever...I'm glad "to be back". And I cannot wait for the first examples of Audi AG's upcoming Radical Next/Clarity era. The Volkswagen Group in general appears to have taken the high road once again. The ID.POLO, ID.CROSS, Cupra Raval, Skoda Epiq...various new products in the pipeline in cooperation with the group's Chinese partners...

German/Austrian designers doin' it for themselves. Instills a sense of identification in these volatile, difficult times.

From what I gather. Chasing volume in the GKL-Klasse is best left to the 7/i7 and X7/iX7.
Alpina presents the opportunity to distance itself from a faltering segment. Present something unique, highly individual something that marries both brands but far more exclusive.

At least we will have a large epic coupe.Alpina or not. MB needs to do similar by presenting a Maybach only epic coupe. Both brands must have a large luxury coupes non-stop as a heritage and to show off the maximum potential of their brand (design, technology, engineering, build quality, materials) even if build in small numbers but not so small that no one will ever see them on the road which is very important.
