B7 was 3.3 seconds faster, though I gather the M had a power issue.

This is utterly pointless

These drag races make me yawn, overall. Fooder for internet arm chair racers (and conducted for views).

Yeah, I expected the new E63 S to be quite a bit faster than the bigger and less sporty BMW.

The E63 is not similar in speed compared to the M760i, especially in the rolling race. The E started to strongly pull away from the M760i as speeds started to climb. Look again.

The new M5 is going to finish them all off. Tesla excluded.

You are drawing conclusions way too soon my friend.
The standard M5 is lighter than the M760i for sure but it is also down on hp, torque and cylinders in comparison.
The E63s has a huge torque advantage over both and a slick shifting 9-speed wet clutch to handle that power.
It just might (and I believe will) have the advantage at higher speeds. So far, it has walked away from competition equipped with ZF and DualClutch transmissions, especially as the speeds increase.

M5 is going to be quicker than M760i for sure. It might not be a huge difference but it's going to be quicker.
I believe BMW's officiel numbers for M5 is better than M760i. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Yes,3.7s for the M760li and 3.4s for the M5 according to BMW.

First race was predictable but Im sorry if you’re going to do a rolling race and NOT be in the right gear you’re a moron. Might as well put it in park and go have a coffee.
Its to give the Tesla an advantage since it does not have a gearbox, while the rest will spend milli seconds to downshift.

I do believe that Tesla is doing something astonishing, but car magazines dont need to tweek their tests to show that.

Sure it will.I question if it's going to be that much faster than the 30 Jahre M5. I am not drawing conclusions on this topic like some. Btw, thanks for the ratings on my previous post for lighting a few points.

BMW says 0-100km/h in 3,4 seconds and 0-200km/h in 11,1 seconds for the new M5.

According to manufacturer figures, AWD vs. RWD is worth about 0.5 of a second in the 0-100 km/h sprint.

G12 Alpina B7 (RWD) - 4.2 secs
G12 Alpina B7 Allrad - 3.7 secs
G12 M760iL xDrive - 3.7 secs

F10 M5 30 Jahre - 3.9 secs
Alpina B5 Allrad - 3.5 secs
F90 M5 M xDrive - 3.4 secs

The F90 also has higher peak torque than the F10 30 Jahre (750Nm vs. 700Nm), that 50Nm is a huge torque advantage, by your own words. (M760iL 800Nm vs. E63S 850Nm) . . .

The E63s has a huge torque advantage over both and a slick shifting 9-speed wet clutch to handle that power. It just might (and I believe will) have the advantage at higher speeds. So far, it has walked away from competition equipped with ZF and DualClutch transmissions, especially as the speeds increase.

Also, the 9 speed allows the E63S to stay in it's peak torque range for longer, but it's peak torque range is narrower than the various Bimmers in question, so I'm not convinced that it makes much of a difference on its own - I'd be curious to see a manufacturers power curve for the E63S though.

^Thanks much.
Is that a factory figure for the 30 Jahre M5.
Car wow for example has slower time figure in their tests.

Yes official factory figures, they don't quote a 0-200 time as far as I can see, but they have a 0-1000m time of 21.5 secs also.
