This is utterly pointlessIt has been done!
B7 was 3.3 seconds faster, though I gather the M had a power issue.

And again, no track test...
I'm not going to watch, because predictably the Tesla will win
Yeah, I expected the new E63 S to be quite a bit faster than the bigger and less sporty BMW.
The new M5 is going to finish them all off. Tesla excluded.
Yes,3.7s for the M760li and 3.4s for the M5 according to BMW.M5 is going to be quicker than M760i for sure. It might not be a huge difference but it's going to be quicker.
I believe BMW's officiel numbers for M5 is better than M760i. Correct me if I'm wrong.
Its to give the Tesla an advantage since it does not have a gearbox, while the rest will spend milli seconds to downshift.First race was predictable but Im sorry if you’re going to do a rolling race and NOT be in the right gear you’re a moron. Might as well put it in park and go have a coffee.

Track test for M760Li?
Sure it will.I question if it's going to be that much faster than the 30 Jahre M5.
BMW says 0-100km/h in 3,4 seconds and 0-200km/h in 11,1 seconds for the new M5.Sure it will.I question if it's going to be that much faster than the 30 Jahre M5. I am not drawing conclusions on this topic like some. Btw, thanks for the ratings on my previous post for lighting a few points.

The E63s has a huge torque advantage over both and a slick shifting 9-speed wet clutch to handle that power. It just might (and I believe will) have the advantage at higher speeds. So far, it has walked away from competition equipped with ZF and DualClutch transmissions, especially as the speeds increase.
^Thanks much.
Is that a factory figure for the 30 Jahre M5.
Car wow for example has slower time figure in their tests.
