Indeed. The M5 will have a higher intake as before eliminating the lower breather.

The intake is a mixture of M5 and the M3/M4.

if you take a closer look at the rear of the m5 in the spy pic you will notice that the part (pointed in red arrows) looks similar to the one in the m sport seven series !!!
