What's your definition of being good in the wet? 560hp/680nm of course there are going to be traction issues when its wet.

True but I'm guessing this new diff will be dramatically better than before and if it's as good as I believe it might be then I wouldn't want BMW to go the AWD route for the M5. :usa7uh:

Maybe not when it comes to ultimate traction but it's getting closer than anyone would have thought possible 5 years ago. :t-cheers:

I'm just so stoked about this car, it seems that BMW have taken all of the negative comments about the E60 M5 like it's gear change being too aggressive and it's ride not being supple enough when in the relaxing mood and fixed them. In my opinion it's the most complete M5 since....... ever and if the Audi's RS6 is as good as this I will be gobsmacked.

How the hell can he keep the bike upright like that on a wet track??? Amazing. I'm getting me a M5.

BMW M

BMW M GmbH, formerly known as BMW Motorsport GmbH, is a subsidiary of BMW AG that manufactures high-performance luxury cars. BMW M ("M" for "motorsport") was initially created to facilitate BMW's racing program, which was very successful in the 1960s and 1970s. As time passed, BMW M began to supplement BMW's vehicle portfolio with specially modified higher trim models, for which they are now most known by the general public. These M-badged cars traditionally include modified engines, transmissions, suspensions, interior trims, aerodynamics, and exterior modifications to set them apart from their counterparts. All M models are tested and tuned at BMW's private facility at the Nürburgring racing circuit in Germany.
