LOL, I know what you mean with the highly praised GT-R and the NSX beating the Murcielago at Motegi but I think their making a better effort to finally be more honest. You can't say german car magazines are not biased also. I am ALWAYS disappointed with the times for american cars and sometimes, but much more rarely, japanese cars.

As I said, I could not watch the movie but figured it must be BM. A couple of years ago the result would probably have been:

1. Lexus
2. Honda
3. Nismo
4. BMW

And laptimes in that order as well

It is a factor, but in the BM case it was almost silly at times.
