The C63 for me. Much better styling, much better brakes and better engine. I let the M3 for drifter wannabes.

The BMW much better brakes? Those brakes are a joke for any performance car. Single piston calipers? :t-crazy2: :eusa_doh:

And talking about the engines maybe the Merc engine should lend the BMW engine a little bit of torque. :D

If you like really big torque maybe you should be looking at a diesel?

Well, future tests will show what brakes is the best, only thing that is for sure is that the number if pistons will not do be decisive.
:t-cheers:

audi fans vote mercedes-throw an RS4 into the poll and the results would be quite a bit different.

How confident are you of that, because I would be willing to make this same poll on another unbiased car forum

LoL, amazing how people take this serious :D Who gives a damn about the final result, its just for fun anyway. Yeah, of coruse its good for bragging rights if your favorite car win :D
Relax guys, next time the result might be different. :t-cheers:

Really deep down it's not the BMW cars we don't like. It's how much BMW fans like yourself (sometimes...others are way worst) seem to have an enhance sense of "BMW superiority verbalization". The way you all act as though your company is the sh_t. Like there is nothing ever wrong with it.

I went to a BMW event and the "BMW fans" that were there were so full of themselves that I had to be taken to the hospital and give shock therapy.

Not that BMW doesn’t deserve credit for their engineering…It just seems to be overdone by BMW fans.

When we constantly see BMW fans promoting the 3 series as God's second child, we can help but to celebrate a victory like this thread has been.

Even thought there are a million MB fans, the BMW fans get a hell of a lot of help from AUDI fans. So normally a thread like this would have gone to BMW.

Thankful, Benz had work on the C63 is finally paying off in the "e-world" of car fans.

Bmw please because of the brilliant v8 and i hate the looks of the c 63 amg, too much detail and the rear bumper stick out too far.....but i would still rather buy the rs4:D

plus where the carbon roof on the m3 sedan:confused:

EXACTLY!

I can understand promoting the M3 ability, but dismissing the value and better improvements of other car makers is confusing to me.

Haha and this is coming from you :eusa_doh: Don't throw stones in glasshouses. ;)
And when someone use the word my carbrand or your carbrand that is crazy, we arent a carbrand or related to them. That is pure fanatism talk and not healthy.

I think everyone needs to look at the bigger picture... Not eeryone is going to agree with what we personally think... It's human nature to want to think something different or to like something of difference... its why our brain is so mysterious... There is technically no perfect car before every car that has and will ever be made will have people that like it and dislike it... its trivial i no but it goes for everything...

I think we should all begin to accept other peoples points of view and flame them for their views. In the end BMW and Mercedes Benz do not care what we think... their only interested in do we buy there car... thats how it always has been and thats how it always will be....

BTW, M3 for me :D Couldnt resist

Believe me, it is mutual :)

I think Audi, BMW and Mercedes fans are the worst! :D

Most fans are ok but there are those in all three camps that are just simply socially incompetent... provocative, ignorant and narrow-minded (incompetence with an attitude - worst of all).

Edit: I came to think of another childish behavior that is really unsympathetic - the all to common practice of not adding anyting constructive but rather just spreading negative judgement and proclaiming dislike for something.

All I gotta say to all that is: Who gives a _ _ _ _!

If these BMW fanboys are acting like kids, then well, they probably are kids with no sense of appreciation for anything other than BMW. That's their loss coz eventhough I'm a BMW at heart, I still give my thumbs up to other marques (as well a give my thumbs down to some BMW's and M's). If these fanboys don't have the mental capacity to get over their narrowminded-ness, well that's their loss... don't know why you'd even bother typing a post trying to talk-down BMW fanboys.. it's not wort the time. I mean, trying to open the eyes and mind of some of these so-called BMW fanboys is like trying to convince Artist that Pagani is a P.O.S --- it ain't gonna happen.

Who knows.. (warning: generalisations ahead).. maybe it's because BMW appeals to a younger crowd, so some of these fanboys are indeed kids/teens who are too blinded by the BMW badge and havent developed the mental capacity to like MB, Audi and others.
Maybe it's because MB gives off a more 'refined' image, while BMW is all about sports. Refined-image appeals to refined-minded people, while the sporty image of BMW might bring out the over-the-top & obsessive nature that charaterise these fanboys you speak of. Who know... but more importantly... who cares?!

Don't waste your time with them, not worth the energy. They'll grow up .... (hopefully) :D

To the poll question now. My votes goes to the M3 Sedan.

For me it's more about look and visual appeal more than anything. I say this all the time when comparing M/RS/AMG vehicles, the engine and horsepower battle between them doesn't matter since all have more than enough power t get the blood-rushing.
Interior design is an area of relevance in my decision. Having seen pics of the C's interior, I certaintly not a fan at all. Too much bare, swooping plastic for me. Yeh the 3's got plastic all over the place too, but at least it's styled with creases and curves. Other than that both cars have nice interiors.

The exterior is where the M3 scores the decisive points for me. The C63 is too over-done for my liking. The front spoiler is a mess, just too much happening! Should have just put the foglights inside the air-intake dam rather than have 5 different shapes down there. Also, those hood-lines.. not nice in my eyes. That's something I'd see on a Rav4 or something. Either have a hood-buldge like the M3 and IS-F, or keep it simple like the RS4. I'm not a fan of the C's rear end.. it's just a lil too boring for me (though the 3er sedan's rear is a bit too much, especially with the lights). For the M3 Sedan, having the front look identical to the M3 Coupe is a BIG PLUS.. it just looks awesome! Not messy like the C63, and not boring like the RS4. The rear-end is 50/50 for me.. as stated, too much going on with the rear lights, but I do like the more simplified rear-diffusor design (compared to the M3 Coupe). Overall BMW did a good job with the 4-door version -- but it's still comes nowhere near it's sister the M3 Coupe!

Nonetheless, this comparo's between the C63 AMG and the M3 Sedan... my vote goes to the latter. :)

Yeah, maybe the racing pads that the press units of the new M3 have will make the difference. :eusa_thin

If one person tells you that you are ugly slap them. If 10 people tell you that you're ugly maybe its time to think of cosmetic surgery ;)

Loads of people have said time and time again that often its the BMW fans attitude of "my sh!t dont stink" when it comes to cars that ruins many threads on this site.

^can i doubble thank that post?
haha j/k:D

I think you hit the nail on the head beemer..
with explaining why they might be more of a pain in the ass..
its not beacuse of them.. its beacuse of what BMW is.. or really what they where... cause now they are not much diffrent than audi and MB.. they sell everything..

Well what a thread... Did not read everything...

But everything apart, with the e46 you never ever would have seen such a result. This is imo the first M3 ever to be smashed like that by any other car. Even if we are only talking of looks here, this is quite alarming for BMW...

Knowing that the only disadvantage the C63 seems to have is the auto gearbox, which is an advantage for the average M3/RS4/C AMG driver because it is much smoother in everyday drive, and only a bit slower in fast gearchanges...

And that everybody says -SHOCKING- that the Benz has a better steering feel than the M3...

Fully agree with the comment about what the Beemers are always saying that the 3-Series is above perfection, the 8th marvel on earth, and considering all other cars with commiseration... Seeing the King about to be dethrone like that must be even more painful than be seen in a Mercedes to them...

However I can't say I'm hapy, the M3 was a myth, and I don't understand why BM didn't put a little bit more efforts into it. The Coupe looks good, better IRL, but not mindblowing, and the sedan just looks crap... No imagination, nothing...

The (too) big rear wheells make it appear short and thick, the front wheels look small in comparison. It has no grace, harmony or elegance. The pasted front, no comment... The rear loks extremely massive, powerful, whereas the front is gracile and does not flow with the rest of the car...At least it should be comfortable, the front suspension seems to be taken from the X5, looking at the space between the body and the wheel, whereas at the rear the wheel seems to touch the body...

No seriously... The Coupe is really beautiful, muscle with distinction, saw it in white, better than in pics. But here, no way. The sedan, imo, is the most bad-looking M3 ever. Even worse than the 325tds-looking e36 sedan...

IMO the C63 will take the M3 a lot of sales, and more of all, lots of image, it will establish itself as a real threat to the M3. The M3 explains a lot the success of the 3-Series, it explains a lot why it appeal so much to young people...

Mercedes finally understood that they need a real "sporty-abordable-trendy" flagship.
Not, like the AMG before, just a "more-powerful Mercedes so discreet that even my neighboor, who spends its life to spy me, thinks it is a C180 with DTM-aftermarket exhaust", or a car knowed to be better in straight-line than in corners.

And that will hurt a lot...

Haha, lucky for me Im a chickmagnet :D

Im not going to name names but there are certain people from all three german brands on this board that ruins many threads. Unfortunaly, you have to live with it:eusa_doh: :)
