M3/M4 BMW M3 GTS is SOLD OUT

The BMW M3 is a high-performance version of the BMW 3 Series, developed by BMW's in-house motorsport division, BMW M GmbH. M3 models have been produced for every generation of 3 Series since the E30 M3 was introduced in 1986. The BMW M4 is a high-performance version of the BMW 4 Series automobile developed by BMW's motorsport division, BMW M, that has been built since 2014. As part of the renumbering that splits the coupé and convertible variants of the 3 Series into the 4 Series, the M4 replaced those variants of the BMW M3. Official website: BMW M

Sorry everyone in Europe and the UK, looks like the GTS is completly sold out. Despite the very high price tag and talk that the price did not represent a good value, it seems that BMW had it right the whole time. They were able to move everyone of these cars very quickly. The actual production volume for this car has not been revealed but production will begin in May 2010.

BMW M3 GTS sold out!

So freakin' shocking because they were like building soooo many of them.

He can't, the BMW hate is too strong.

As for the GTS, this announcement was bound to happen. They aren't making a whole lot, and there are so many BMW fans willing to pay this kind of money for this kind of car it's not even funny. BMW themselves are the only ones not realising this. But they're starting to see the light, with the M1 also coming.

LOL! But seriously, I thought this was known once it was released it shouldn't be too hard to sell limited edition runs for most makes like BMW. SOLD OUT!!!@ how did they manage?

And I was just about to put a downpayment!

Darn!

Oh well...next time!

Missed it by an inch...

(jk of course...)

Everyone knew that! By the time I have the cash ready for one of those, I hope there is a nice used one up for sale in the market available! ;)

By putting a star on it - there, happy, the throbbing pain in your nether end better now?

btw will any of these be making it stateside? Or does it not meet regulations like the CSL?

Being so limited, I doubt they bothered to put it through the federal crash test or EPA certification. But a few will probably make it through private channels and show up on track days.

The M3 GTS is not federalized for the US Market.
Surprsingly the M3 GTS demand is in the EU , followed by the Middle East and lastly some markets in Asia.
The media will be getting behind the wheel very soon. The car will also be on show in Geneva but will probably be locked.

:t-cheers:

Let's hope BMW sees this as the WAKE THE F-UP! call...they need a UNIQUE brand building Ultimate Sports Car i.e. R8 competitor, sooner rather than later!:bangin:

In what way could that possibly be surprizing?

That a car of this limited status and price gained a larger customer base in the EU rather than one would expect in the Middle East market.
The SLS AMG for example a large majority of 2010 production is going to the Middle East.

Meh, they're all AdvEvo clone babies. ;)

And, as far as I'm concerned the M3 GTS never really was "on sale" so it being "sold-out" is rather inconsequential. The M3 GTS is nothing more than a very limited, and admittedly, special curiosity. It's very much a pin-up car as opposed to a fully fledged competitive - in the commercial sense of the word - product. In other words, the GT3 RS isn't losing any sleep over this car.

BMW M

BMW M GmbH, formerly known as BMW Motorsport GmbH, is a subsidiary of BMW AG that manufactures high-performance luxury cars. BMW M ("M" for "motorsport") was initially created to facilitate BMW's racing program, which was very successful in the 1960s and 1970s. As time passed, BMW M began to supplement BMW's vehicle portfolio with specially modified higher trim models, for which they are now most known by the general public. These M-badged cars traditionally include modified engines, transmissions, suspensions, interior trims, aerodynamics, and exterior modifications to set them apart from their counterparts. All M models are tested and tuned at BMW's private facility at the Nürburgring racing circuit in Germany.
