The new 7 series did not achieve what it expected in sales. It reported a small increase of 3,000 units in the first quarter compared to last year. Since it was released in the first quarter of last year, it is not a good increase considering the availability factor. Sales of 60 thousand units are expected this year. This number includes the 8 series...

Indeed, sales figures for both the BMW 7/i7 and the M-B EQS sedans are surely seriously disappointing their respective sales personnel. At least here in Europe. BMW 7/i7 appear as rare as hens teeth and the EQS does not appear to be faring considerably better. BMW 5/i5 remain rare sightings in comparision to what appears to be a relatively successful reception for the W214 E-Class. Of course, that could have a number of reasons that have little if anything to do the desirabilty of the 5/i5 vis-a-vis the E-Class as such.

Although 5er being released earlier than the E, I saw the same amount of 5 and E on the streets (Hungary and Romania).

The German embassy in Singapore ditches the ambassadors obligatory S-Klasse for the i7.

Spotted this gorgeous looking 7 in Kuala Lumpur...

🤣🤣🤮🤮

They seem to be popular here though. I've seen probably as many G70's as I have W223's in 4 days, which is impressive considering its more recent introduction.

It was a different story in Singapore where I saw vastly more W223's and maybe 2 G70's over a 9 day period.

Obviously this is all just subjective observation, but in Singapore the W223 seemed as ubiquitous as in London.
