roberto what about the interior?
It's pleasant, not overly exciting though ...I would have expected it to be a little more dramatic .......looking at the pictures, it does look a little bit "cheap" in places ........but I don't want to be too critical ....it seems I have been arguing with people on this forum all week already ...lets just say, overall, I think it's a really desirable car.

personally I love the interior, better than 5er IMO. this one look elegant and sexy :D

Anyone think the grille and the front bumper's mesh looks a bit chintzy? Maybe it's the lighting, but hopefully it's not as shiny as that in real life.

yep its damn hot.. i like the silver coloured net in the spoiler..
and the interior nothing xtra xtra but still decent..:D
cool car no doubt.. maybe one of the better looking recent bimmers

Its AWSOME!

On MONDAY, the 24th, it says that they will reveal more info, about the new engine and you could also build your own BMW. (bmw.com page). It also says that from this date you will be able to visit your national page for info on the new car.

I'm slowly forcing myself to like it. It's better than their recent efforts, for sure.

I'm curious though, when reading that mammoth press release, is that it says that the coupe debuts a brand-new six-speed automatic transmission. Any more information on that anyone?

The front bumper is a bit chintzy just to show people that it is a 335i and not a 320i

I went back and looked really carefully. There are some really nice details ..... and I would agree with you about the 5 series interior, I think this 3er interior is nicer.

all I got from the pressrelese

As an alternative to its six-speed manual gearbox, the BMW 3 Series Coupé will also be available with BMW’s new six-speed automatic transmission. Keeping gearshift times extremely short, the new automatic transmission ensures an even more spontaneous response to the gas pedal, thus enhancing not only driving comfort, but also driving dynamics.

Would it be fair to assume that it's merely a slight revision of the current ZF gearbox in all BMW models? That's the feeling I get - if they were to introduce a completely new transmission, surely they would've made some seperate press release on the new technology. We'll have to see I guess.

I still dont understand, do you mean photos taken on the streets by person like you and me?
People taken using a normal camera, with other words non-press photos. Sorry for the confususion.:D

omgosh.....i take back whatever bad thing i once said about this car, this is stunning, im kind of sad now that my bro's got the seden. in those pix this car is really hot, really hot. tho the interior is almost the same as the seden, which is a good thing:D. but i thought they would have some changes like 6 series is 5 series.

Not much but the Coupe weigh 10 kg less than Sedan, sounds promising for the future M3 that they trying to keep the weight low.
