The last picture ties in perfectly with the wood or no wood discussion. I think this looks amazing. Especially with the beige leather and monaco blue exterior. It looks mighty sophisticated.

This picture is my new wallpaper!

It's just awesome, looks even better than the car did in grey, can't imagine how good it will look in black!:icondrool

Awesome PS, although the wheels look a bit big!

If it looked like that, I would be very happy!

The only problem is the rear diffuser!

why is it a PS???

BTW, anyone with a nice pic of the E92 with dark colours to use as a wallpaper?

Anyone else notice that current/recent BMW's only look good in Dark colors too hide all the weird cut lines and surfaces? When the 7 series first came out almost all the ads were of the car in dark colors to make it seem less akward. Looks like even the more recent BMW's need that treatment.

Not the case. I actually prefer a light metallic silver on new BMW models as it accentuates the design/sculpting of the car under a particular light source, such as the sun.

I disagree. When I was in Geneva they had a white M5, white M6 and white Z4M Roadster in the showroom.

I made this PS and the new Coupe seem to be good-looking car in white.

BTW phybenz, everytime I read a post from you about BMW then its always something negative. It would be nice hearing you saying something positive about BMW. Bashing in everypost is getting old-fashioned.

Metallic paint jobs best accentuate the new BMWs. Much as I like black on all the new models, it robs the lines of their dramatic potential.

The most extreme example would be the Z4. The car looks completely different in flat colors like red or black.

The line and porportions on the new 3er coupe are so nice they don't really need the aid of dramatic contrast though, although it's all there, and there's plenty of interesting lines that beneift from high contrast.

Not only old-fashioned, but also very annoying!

Now now, let's not bash on Phybenz, he was just stating his opinion. Anyways, I would dissagree with them. The new BMW's look better in Almost every color. The only color I don't like are Gold and stuff like that but that's not a problem because BMW doesn't really have a gold unlike Mercedes which for some reason still use it. I love the white on this car though...it's so damn sexy. Thanks for the chop Just_Me. :t-cheers:

Alright here is a positive for you Just_me. I really like the mocha brown-like colored interiors BMW uses. I think that color is the nicest interior color of all cars and always wished MB would offer something like that but only do in Designo. It looks especially stunning in the 5 series I think.

I don't mean to bash BMW per se because there are certain things I do like about them and I also respect them very much. I just don't agree with their design direction of recent years, and think they produce interiors that have just as many cheap bits as an MB but don't get called out for them, aside from the X3.

As far as the 3 series (so I stay on topic) I just don't find the design as stunning as the current one and almost find it a step backwards. The front lights really remind me of an S40 and almost mouse-like, and the profile which I think is one BMW's best attributes in their design (except for the Z4), is droopy and bland.

These are just my opinions and I am expressing them because this is a wonderful forum for all of us car enthusiasts to express our ideas.
