Seatbelt presenters are so lame. Why would anyone want one? :t-hands:

Becuase you're too rich and lazy to be bothered with trival things like reaching back for your seatbelt.

Those new shots make it look ten times better already! I looooooove it

Can I get this one in high res:

Funny how all the tiny, minute details make a design click or bomb.

I'm starting to get the same warm, fuzzy feelings from the E92 like I got from the new TT. I didn't find much to like about either in concept, but now that I see all the fine detail, both look very sharp and finished.

This car might be winning me over one detail at a time. The million dollar question is how I'll feel when I squeeze in the back seat...

...and the other question is how backlogged BMW will be with preorders for this thing. Something tells me bargin hunting is absolutely out of the question.

...and the last question is weather or not the seatbelt presenters will look good in person.

- Confirmed Interior Colors:
Black
Cream Beige
Coral Red
Jade Gray
Saddle Brownrey

Really gald to see that interior colors for this thing might lean twoards a modern pallate. So many great GCs are being offered with shades of uphostery straight out of the 80s - and I mean that in the worst way possible.

BMW created a car to cannobolize the sales of it's own 6er. LoL, I'm only kidding, but this cars looks puts the face of the E63 in the toilet. I'm overwhelmed by the grace, class, and sportiness BMW designers were able to achieve here. From every angle this car looks very purposeful, like it's ready to launch out onto the Nurbrigring at full pace, albeit gracefully, which can't be said for any other car in the BMW product line, as those cars tend to look more like they'd begin a reign of terror(and much of the BMW line bar the 6 looks very on point to me). Even more interesting to me is how much more rich this car looks than the 6, a car who's price will probably leap frog even the top spec 335i by $20+k. I could go on and on, but BMW designers have really saved the best for last. I look forward to seeing the E92 proweling the streets and sucking souls out of the many gazes many will cast upon it. Could this be my next car?:D

As far as seat belt pretensioners meeting your hands to strap you in? Just another reason to long gaze at this car in utter astonishment.

Hmm...what's the point of having an iDrive when there's no screen? And do I see paddles behind the wheel? Does every automatic BMW have that feature?

Thanks for the pic Deutsch. The chop looks pretty good but it's not that clear. I just can't wait for the M3 concept. Hey Eni, since the E92 has had it's PR debut any word on when M3 will get it's chance?

I wonder if they will still be "so Lame" when Audi put them in a coupe?

I kind of understand Youngwarrior. I never owned a car that has this "give-me-the-seatbealt-please" so I have never missed it. If its an extra option for E92 I dont find the need to order it. I will manage without it. So for me, I dont find a need for it but I would probably get used to it if I had a car with "give-me-the-seatbealt-please" :)

iDrive I don't know, but it must be there for a reason. I cannot imagine BMW messing up the first press photos like that.

As for the paddles, read the press release:

"The new 6-speed STEPTRONIC automatic, which can be specified with steering wheel mounted paddle shifters."

335i automatic 0-60 in 5.5 secs
335i manual 0-60 in 5.3 secs

New 328i coupe is 0.2 seconds faster to 100 than the E46 330Ci

Guy from a local BMW dealer replied to an inquiry I made for the E92:

They are just being set for production which means the cars will be arriving in 4-6 weeks, release are still TBD

Wouldn't be the first time a dealer has told me a complete load of crap... could be true?
