M3/M4 BMW E90 M3 Sedan (Official pics & info)

The BMW M3 is a high-performance version of the BMW 3 Series, developed by BMW's in-house motorsport division, BMW M GmbH. M3 models have been produced for every generation of 3 Series since the E30 M3 was introduced in 1986. The BMW M4 is a high-performance version of the BMW 4 Series automobile developed by BMW's motorsport division, BMW M, that has been built since 2014. As part of the renumbering that splits the coupé and convertible variants of the 3 Series into the 4 Series, the M4 replaced those variants of the BMW M3. Official website: BMW M
WTH? is that greek? ;)

It only says worldpremiere for 4-door M3, nothing about DCT.
My bad - I didn't mean to quote you. I was referring to Bartek's post above yours. The part where it says:
"We now have confirmation that a seven-speed gearbox is planned for the M3 Sedan and even have the final gear ratios thanks to official documents from BMW."

Tokyo Motor Show: Practical performance with BMW's M3 Sedan

There hasn't been a BMW M3 sedan since the E36 generation, but that doesn't mean BMW has forgotten how to build a fast saloon car. The M3 Sedan takes everything good about the M3 coupe and adds two doors to the mix, allowing you to better justify the purchase with your significant other. BMW has thrown out the standard headlights on the sedan and replaced them with the lights found on the coupe, giving it a more sporting design in the process. The basic specs are all the same as the coupe.

The award for the coolest pre-reveal car cover goes to BMW. It's got racing stripes for plum sake and not just racing stripes, but racing stripes in the traditional M Division colors. The reason for that is what's underneath. It's the 2008 BMW M3 Sedan. I'd tell you all about it, but I'm too hungover. Had sake for dinner and a few beers for dessert. Oh yeah, and some rice with a raw piece of fish on it.

Doesn't matter. All you want to know about the V8 powered, high-performance sedan is just a click away. See link below. But click quietly, please. -- Scott Oldham, Inside Line Editor in Chief

I must say this is a huge improvement over a "regular" 3-Series sedan.

The M3 sedan looks infinite times better then the C63 to my eyes... it doesnt resort to tacky styling add on but offers an amazing improvement over the standard 3 series design...

Wow!! Looks much better then on the official press photos of BMW!!! Maybe, that had the wrong photographer... :D

BMW M

BMW M GmbH, formerly known as BMW Motorsport GmbH, is a subsidiary of BMW AG that manufactures high-performance luxury cars. BMW M ("M" for "motorsport") was initially created to facilitate BMW's racing program, which was very successful in the 1960s and 1970s. As time passed, BMW M began to supplement BMW's vehicle portfolio with specially modified higher trim models, for which they are now most known by the general public. These M-badged cars traditionally include modified engines, transmissions, suspensions, interior trims, aerodynamics, and exterior modifications to set them apart from their counterparts. All M models are tested and tuned at BMW's private facility at the Nürburgring racing circuit in Germany.
