The BMW M3 is a high-performance version of the BMW 3 Series, developed by BMW's in-house motorsport division, BMW M GmbH. M3 models have been produced for every generation of 3 Series since the E30 M3 was introduced in 1986. The BMW M4 is a high-performance version of the BMW 4 Series automobile developed by BMW's motorsport division, BMW M, that has been built since 2014. Honestly I think it's great that there is more competition. More cars to love. :usa7uh: The 3 Germans are now closer than ever in many ways. For example the S-Class has lost some tests against the A8 which used to be unheard of. In the end the competition is good for the customers but I would still be seriously disappointed if M3 lost against the C 63 on Nurburgring with the same tires... ;)
 
^^that was so long ago so i dont remeber..
but for example i was sad when MB lost its no 1 position
i guess its a normal reaction from a fan..

I just went onto various MB official sites, the Gallery they had for the new Cclass, ALL in Advantgarde trim with the big MB logo on the grille, not too willing to show it in other trims..
But hey, do you agree that the new C's front is very BMW looking? It even have eyebrows! the bonnet line leading from the windscreen to the nose is strikingly similar.
 
a 6.3L engine vs a 4.0L, with that figure in mind if the C63 has a proper chassis, why can't it be faster? But I do expect that BMW chassis miracle will still make the M3 faster.. but apparently the C63 has gone stiffer while the M3 has gone a little softer reading from reviews, so yes i am a bit disappointed that a M3 is slwoer than a C63 on track, but get over it, i am not entering WTCC or ETCC.

I guess anything is possible... I remember someone in the GermanCarFans forum saying he'll die before he ever saw BMW become the number 1 premium car maker over Mercedes Benz...

The front pic, well the C63 does look more agressive, there are hardout spoilers at the front and its traditional MB grille is bigger than the kidney grille, so yea it does look more agressive.

the other ones, well maybe you have different eyes.
 
It's INCREDIBLE all this negative spamming by the Artist is accepted like this by all those mods we have on this forum....we have like a mod for every 3 people posting here, and still nobody says anything about the Artist constant negatism towards everything BMW.

I think it's not funny at all anymore, and if it's ok what Artist does, I am going to do it in every single new Mercedes thread as well, mark that down.

It's fine to say you don't like it once (or MAYBE twice), but sweet mother of God.....

maybe the rear needs a FL, but they changed the good part of it:t-hands:

This is a free forum, where everyone can expose his own opinions...You could be right, that the Artist reply on every positive post with a negative one - but finally it's his right - we should respect, that this is his way of showing, that he doesn't like the car.
But maybe "The Artist" could limit his "negative" posts...we all know that you don't like the new M3 Sedan, Artist!! :usa7uh:

Exactly. Criticism is allowed. After all just check out the Maybach or R-class thread, they have also been heavily criticised. So the_Artist has done nothing out of the ordinary. I'm on his side on this.
 
No way that BMW is releasing a FL version of M3 a half year after introduction.
So you guys have to "decide": Either the FL comes in March '09 only and the M3 gets it, or the FL really comes next fall but the M3 sedan remains unchanged...
