BMW Compactive Tourer - spy pics & info

Is the area of the windows unchanged from the concept??
Looks highest and less cute in patent drawings.
This is very strange, bmw always respect these concepts 90% identical to the production model, and this would be a key difference.....

Mercedes releases one new model after another and BMW continues to faff around with creative marketing, hype and trying to build anticipation over what is essentially a van.

The "the best car of the univers". "Th king of the road" "the master of desaster" THE S-CLASS haha

The Concept raised the hope that the hood will end at the kidneys. But on the patent images is to recognize that the real car will get the typical line of the most last models between hood and kidneys. The reason could be the pedestrianprotection, but the F25 X3 and F15 X5 they don´t have this line.

Probably because the X3 and X5 have a higher, bluffer front end already?

The Secret Weapon for 2014.

The Concept looks much better than the A-and B-Class of Mercedes. I hope the production car will looks so good, too.
After the first rumors that BMW will produce a FWD-car the reactions in german forums were largely negative, because the style and the FWD were untypical for the history of BMW. But the first pics of the concept generated many positive reactions. When the production car will conform with the concept it will be very successful.
Is it to expect that BMW will provide LED-headlights in all classes?

LED headlights will be optional. In general the shape and design transfers to the concept , but the decorative furnishing on the exterior will not , but the ideas will be interpreted in a conventional way. The interior transfers nicely to a more realistic production format but the ideas remain the same , the floating centre console for example is raised on the production car.
Of the concept you would be surprised of many features that are being implemented on the production car that are deemed necessary for this market.

Yes there was a negative response initially but on the BMW.com website we have a registration request on the Active Tourer that has been requested by over 200,000 users. If we can transfer that or even half of that into sales within a projected period then we will have a successful new line for BMW and a new market.

The arrival on the FWD will be known as we have about electric mobility.
We will learn all in a little over five months time.
In the mean time , a rare shot of the Active Tourer with its larger wheels option.

Is that performance something you are proud of Scott? That car rolled more than the Costa Concordia, and it looked like it had dampeners made from cheese.
