Hot! BMW AG: What's Next

Also dangerous and less good for safety compared to this:

These door handles and the lack of certain physical buttons in the interior makes cars factually less safe than before and it's astonishing.

Who the f#ck cares if your electric milage is 0.002% less efficient? Are you joking????
Touch screens for controlling HVAC/Radio/Mobile Entertainment and self closing doors are also unsafe IMHO. Removing the buttons, seat controls and putting on the touch screen is an ergonomical disaster.

I just did a little research and it turns out the G60 is a sales failure compared to the previous 5 Series. Not only that, the G70 7 Series also lagged significantly behind previous generations. Bold designs weren't something anyone cared about.

F10, G30 and G60 first full year sales figures.

F10 (2011): 332,500
G30 (2018): 382,750
G60 (9 months 2025): 220,740 (290,000 for the full year)

I am not surprised, it’s almost as big a as an SWB 7er.

There’s significant cost cutting in the interior.

In Europe the engine options has been reduced significantly.

The new 540d is in fact only a 530d, there’s no real 540d on the market.

You want a typical BMW with a I6 Gasoline/Petrol engine, in Europe you can only order the 550e with a PHEV which is as heavy as the moon.

Even the M5 became a PHEV, which is absolutely ridiculous.

There’s no powerful 4 cylinder Diesel in 5er ( in the E-Class as well BTW) the 520d is barely adequate, there’s no powerful 4 cylinder Gasoline/Petrol engine as well, at least in Europe.
Instead there are 3 EV options.

I like the G60, although it’s very big for this class.

Pretty sure what is s failure is not the 5er or the 7er, but sedans as a whole. Or have the W223 and W214 sold any better than the previous versions?

At some point, Germans will have to decide whether producing sedans is still viable. BMW seems to be giving the G70 and G60 +10 year lifespan, which is quite telling.

If sale figures of the current gen collapse, while the X5 and X7 remain popular, who knows…

First full year

G11 (2017) : 64,311
G70 (2023) : 59,763 (incl. 8 Series)
W222 (2015) : 106,200 (incl. Coupe)
W223 (2022) : 117,500 + 23,500 EQS

The most striking aspect is the G45's meager performance. This car was the best-selling model in the BMW product range. Look at its total sales, including the X4; it's far behind its predecessor.

Bot Leylandi is getting more advanced.
Its algorithm is able to look for past patterns. Too bad it is unable to interpret them like an actual human being with a functional brain.
But no worries, bots advance rapidly.

Concern trolling is a bannable offense. But what's even more striking is this MB troll bot even daring to compare sales numbers between BMW and Mercedes when BMW f#cking sells 300k more cars in a year. Cherry picking to troll, get the f#ck out of here LMAO

Also, public number give roughly 60k of the BMW X7 in 2024, and only God know how many GLS are sold because of MBs retarded top end pool or whatever they call the segment where they lump everything together.
Now given that in 2017 there was no X7 yet there was a GL Class, it seems logical to me some potential 7er buyers went for an X7 this time around. I know I know it's a completely wild take, but I am not a bot at least.

And of course this has nothing to do with the soon to be released and hyped to heaven iX3.

Jesus Lord how can people be this dumb?

Will we ever see such a tech leap between models again? Or is this just the beginning judging by the rapid EV development?

G45 sales are perfect; it's just that the previous X4 and iX3 models were discontinued. It's as simple as that; they're no longer included in the figures, which is why they're lower. This was already explained at the time, so try again.

Regarding the G60, you can't establish parameters for the entire first year based on figures from only the first nine months and make up the rest. At least wait until the end of the year; sales always increase towards the end.

The only valid and relevant comparison for the G60 is the E-Class sales under the same conditions and using only official figures directly from Mercedes-Benz to understand the current market conditions. Do the same with the S-Class vs. the 7 Series, but for 2024 and YTD 2025; you'll be surprised.

It has become a constant that as soon as Mercedes Benz launches an ugly model (the last three GLA and GLB are ugly and the GLC is barely "acceptable"), some Mercedes followers come to vent their anger against BMW. We understand the frustration it causes, but BMW is not to blame for what Gordon does or Ola approves.

We're reading more nonsense from Leylandi, the Mercedes troll.

It's not even the first full year for the G45, and the list includes the X4 and G03 iX3, which are no longer in production or sales.

They would be much better off focusing on Mercedes' declining sales, and would be getting their money's worth.

Sedans are now in decline, 7 Series customers are also turning to the X7. The W223 is also losing sales compared to previous years.

Mercedes' third-quarter sales fell by 12%, but Leylandi is conducting a perception operation by focusing on the sales figures of a few models for BMW, which increased its group sales by 8.8%

Horrible video with an even worse presenter. Hard pass.
Is it a horrible video, or did you pass? Both can’t be true.

He’s real bimmerhead, he loves BMW.

As you can see from the Video with sreten.
Yeah he has a E30 Touring that he imported before it was even legal to import in the US (over 20 years ago), a beater E30, a beautiful 850CSi, and a 190e 2.3-16 Cosworth. I would say he has pretty good taste.
