The F01 and F10 (particularly the pre-FL versions) both looked way better than the G11 and the G30.

Agreed! Both the F01 and F10 in white with the M Sport paket and the simple 5 spoke wheels.. perfection.

That said.. the G30 5er did grow on me with the LCI. Wish they would go back to the simple 5 spoke designs

AMS has been continuously in this game for 80+ years. They have sources.
Your sources are what BMW pretty much shares with the media. Which is great don't get me wrong, but different. I am sure you know stuff nobody knows because they told you, but I am also sure you're not going to tell us because you told them you weren't going to. AMS is the kind of source that shares stuff we aren't supposed to know. And maybe what you aren't supposed to know either.

I like BMWblog a lot, and hope you get lots of traffic to remain successful and relevant (which is what you are very much these days).
Anyways, sorry if it came over as a dig, it was not the intention to even debate your track record.

You're wrong. You don't know my sources and I don't need to prove anything. If you read us, you can see what we post and how accurate it is. It's pretty simple. And the fact that you create this false narrative, it's pretty sad. Not even sure why you'd think BMW tells me something, and then they say, don't share. It's such a weird statement.

It was an absolute dig based on a false narrative with nothing to back it up. And this type of misinformation is what sucks in the world today.

My advice? Read us more often and call me out if I'm wrong.

I thought the same thing. I was thinking about a facelift with NK elements and a new interior but looks like they’re already cooking the next generation. BMW is no stranger to this though since F15 X5 didn’t get a facelift either. After 5 years of production they showed the current one in 2018.
Maybe this is some sort of an extended facelift?

Here too. It's probably the best selling BMW. Love the way it looks, and for this car I wouldn't want to see it NKified to be honest. Just bring a proper NK next gen version and keep this one as is.

I was thinking that these NKified facelifts are bringing down the actual NK cars a bit. The facelift 5er for example will look like an NK car but has nothing to do with it....that somehow feels wrong, but on the other side anything will help making some cars look less ugly.

Sometimes you do just have to put lipstick on a pig. Eventually, the whole lineup will be NK, but until then... You gotta do what you gotta do.

Very interesting. I saw photos of the X1 facelift a few months ago, but it hasn't been seen since. Perhaps they'll ditch the facelift altogether and launch an all-new X1 in NK design in 2027.

Agree. I'm looking forward to the presentation of the GENUINE NKL 5 series sedan/Touring. They promise to be very special indeed.

I hope the wait is not TOOOOO long.
