I suppose this is the i4M or something else?
Exactly ... seems to be the BEV performance test vehicle from BMW M with 4 e-motors - one per wheel - and a supposed system power of > 1000hp ...
Didn’t we have reports a few years back of a super M2 EV with 1,000 PS?
If you read the Interview with Dirk Häcker (which by the way has already been linked by @leylandi), you get, that the presented test mule based on the i4M50 is already the 2nd iteration/generation of the high perf M BEV. The first gen (code name Katharina) was based on an M2 chassis.Didn’t we have reports a few years back of a super M2 EV with 1,000 PS?
No 5 Series unveil this year. Stay tuned on 3.0Official presentation XM September 27
Official presentation M2 October 12
Official presentation 3.0 CSL hommage for November / December?
Last months of the year more than interesting, the XM so soon is a pleasant surprise although we already have a pretty clear idea after the concept etc.
The first "big surprise" model would be the 5 series, I think in early 2023? does anyone know when?

The ALPINA mystery is revealed and clearly points to where I supposed...
“There is space between the top of BMW at €200,000-€220,000 and the bottom of Rolls-Royce, which starts at around €350,000.”
Do you know when M3 CS will be revealed? No 5 Series unveil this year. Stay tuned on 3.0
I agree, but I don't think they will change that, but rather taking advantage of it and enhancing it (who knows how).I find this slightly sad. The Alpina's I love are the BMW's that BMW wouldn't build - the more it becomes a trim level, the less appealing it is to me - it might work, like Maybach 2.0 worked as a trim level for Mercedes (as opposed to the more unique cars that flopped), but cars like the B6S, the B10 Bi-Turbo, the B8 4.6, the B7 Turbo E24's and E28's... to me they're legendary icons not because some label was applied to a uplift the margin, but because they did what BMW was doing, but in a different way.
BMW wants to achieve its luxury sales success in Alpina, which it could not achieve in the main brand.
A tiresome alert. All weeks the same. Just ban him from BMW threads, honestly.Troll alert!!!!

ALPINA To Focus On Luxury, Bridge Gap Between BMW And Rolls-Royce
BMW’s Vice President, Head of Series Luxury Class, Christian Tschurtschenthaler, says ALPINA models won't get any sportier, but will be more luxurious.www.bmwblog.com
So what Alpina before BMW acquired them, then?Yes.
BMW are planning to make ALPINA what Maybach is to MB, and Horsch is to Audi: luxo-versions of top-end models.
