Being loyal to BMW pays off in the end.
I just took this slightly used 6-Series from my dealer.
I'm not paying anything for it and will keep the car for a whole month.
The mileage I'm allowed to do is limited tho.

The weather here is perfect already and that's why I chose a vert.
Will post my impressions in one month.

PS: Audi and MB to follow before I finally get my own car :)

That's great! You do know we expect a full review;)(y) Enjoy her! Not every day this opportunity knocks on your door.

A review is coming in the end of my short ownership :)
Yes, at least the start of my summer will be great and I'll only have to pay for the gas.
Hope MB and Audi have some nice verts in stock too... tho they will allow me to keep their cars for just two weeks!
BMW are the best! :D Tried to get a free car from Porsche but they said NO... fokers :D

What are you buying?

If you are in for a Grand Tourer you may find that after test driving the 6er Cabrio you may not want to drive anything else! :D

BTW - When writing the review, try the new GCF Showcase section for more exposure. You can create one for this section (Owner Galleries) or for Member Car Reviews. ;)

I recently sold my F10 so I'm familiar with the chassis.
I already love the 650i. I'm getting the S3 Sedan as a daily and still considering a few cars as a 2nd ride :)

In about 10 days I'll be changing the Bimmer for an Audi.
Which car would you rather own for two weeks?

1. Q7 V12 TDI
2. D4 A8 4.2 TDI
3. A7 3.0 TDI
4. D3 S8 V10

There are many other cars to choose but those are the ones I'm most interested in driving.
Some new A3s too. They might help me find out if my decision to get the S3 is right but I'm not interested in driving 2.0 TDIs. Many A4s and A5s... even some verts but I dislike the looks of the A5 and there are no S models available for me.
So I have to decide which of the 3 above will be mine...
Mind that my colleague drives a Q7 V12 TDI so I can take his for a test drive whenever I want... and it's a car I'm not considering at all... even used ones are damn expensive.

As you're not in the market for the Q7, I'd go for exactly that one. Just to cross it off your list of cars to have experienced.
Otherwise S8 V10!

Tho actually owning the car for two weeks is better than taking it for 1-2 days every month.
The V10 S8 is a dream car of mine... the V12 TDI is my dream SUV... It's a hard choice.
But driving the D4 A8 can help me choose between the D4 S8 and the W222 S63 if I go for a car in this class.

I'm too tired and bored to write a review these days but maybe someday I'll do.

Overall:

It's the best all-round GT car I've ever driven. It has plenty of power and I really think that an M6 isn't needed as this car can do everything as good on the road... we're talking about heavy GTs here ;)
This car makes you smile all the time(being a vert really helps a lot) but also never makes you tired... no matter how hard you push it. It's one of the most relaxing experiences I ever got from a BMW car... 7-Series included.
I kind of miss the car already yet I was still driving it 10 days ago.
