Here's an oddity that crops up from time to time, I think this is the third time I've seen it for sale, the BMW Observer Coupe.. it's a 635CSi with a panoramic roof that could slide all the way back into the boot!...

Currently for sale... last time I think it went for about £20,000...

I have the same one. Interestingly - and I've never spotted this before, all the photos where the steering wheel is visible, are mirrored - with a an English number plate added, and where appropriate the fuel filler flap air brushed out.

... and all before Photoshop...

Found a photograph of my old 6-er too whilst digging that out...

That was at the BMW CC GB meet at the Motor Museum at Gaydon, not sure when it would have been though. Mine is/was BRW 660Y.
