Another mismatch comparison. The C220d in RWD with rear wheel steer would have been a much better match. The plug in hybrid spoils the driving experience due to its massive weight.
The Audi is great if you're a British sales rep thanks to its Hatcback. Or maybe if you're a pensioner and who used to a travelling sales rep and have fond memories of that Vectra hatchback 2;0 GLS that you used to run around in the 1990's selling hygiene products travelling from the south England all the way to the Irish border.
The BMW looks great and predicatbly is the sportiest one and more fund to drive. Not as practical as the Audi and not as luxurious as the Mercedes.
The Mercedes is not as fun to drive as the BMW and nowhere near as practical as the Audi.
So my choice would be the:Mercedes. It's the quietest, most comfortable, it's good to be driven in as it has the best rear-room. As for handling, cars these days have power assisted steering anti-lock brakes and stability control, therefore handling should be the least on anyone's concern. In terms of performance, the Mercedes is the fastest one, it should be very economical as it is a plug-in hybrid and being a plug-in hybrid means that if I were a Londoner, I could drive the plug-in hybrid C-Class around Piccadilly Circus whilst flipping the bird to Sadiq Khunt and telling him to f#ck off. And driving a BMW on a twisty road is nowhere as fun as driving a plug-in hybrid Mercedes and telling Sadiq Khunt to f#ck off.
