While the Coupe is for launch in July this year, the convertible variant is only due a year later in 2007.

......
hmm by this rate maybe MB will be out with the C63 before the M3..:D
bmw is starting to get like audi

I dunno. The rear doesn't look especially buttoned-up thanks to what looks like a big overhang. From these photos it appears like the car suffers the "Celica Effect" where you'll need conspicuously large wheels to get the thing's lookin' just right.

Curious to know how the rear seat will treat passengers. It's bound to be more spacious than the outgoing model.

Interesting. Nothing in those pics to send me into spasms but overall, apart from the design trademarks, it just doesn't look very BMW-ish. :eusa_thin

The front seems to have some hints of 5-series. So far I think I will go with what most people have already said, and that is the rear seems to be too long for a coupe of this size. Maybe if they extended the C-pillar further back it would have looked a bit better.

Hmm... The chrome touches are nice. Interesting to see BMW going this direction since in the past they've thumbed their nose at chrom accents and the like.

Gotta admit though, it makes the whole affair seem very "finished."

It's not chrome. It's galvanized plastic - with ruthenium layer.

Still very classy, but much cheaper.

Metals are very expensive these days. :D

yep it looks very finished here are some more pics of the same car.. but GCF says juli.. and thats just to late.. it pisses me off..
