M3/M4 BMW 3.0 CSL Hommage R Concept

The BMW M3 is a high-performance version of the BMW 3 Series, developed by BMW's in-house motorsport division, BMW M GmbH. M3 models have been produced for every generation of 3 Series since the E30 M3 was introduced in 1986. The BMW M4 is a high-performance version of the BMW 4 Series automobile developed by BMW's motorsport division, BMW M, that has been built since 2014. As part of the renumbering that splits the coupé and convertible variants of the 3 Series into the 4 Series, the M4 replaced those variants of the BMW M3. Official website: BMW M
I know you've mentioned that the headlight shape is destined for the upcoming 3er. Can you give us some additional insight what details/tech we might see in upcoming BMWs?

I'm a huge fan of the F30 3 Series, more than the F80. I think the car has a level of perfection that will be hard to top by the next 3er, but if BMW somehow decides to make the new cars remotely close to the design language of this, I will really have to sell a kidney [so I can buy two kidneys]. I really hope BMW takes notice of how well received this car is and influences heavily the design of cars to follow.

I would totally drive one of this, ALL black. Just change all leather inside by alcantara and maybe tartan cloth. I would feel like an absolute super villain.
Anybody with PS skills willing to paint this BLAAAAACK??

This is the closest I could find online. .the Vision GranTurismo.

Now, that is very good looking. Villain looks

F80 is the ultimate and perfect F30.
Haha it is. I just don't totally like the bumpers, I feel they are overdone. The problem I find is, I'm a bit persnickety :D
The carbon roof on the other hand looks amazing

What I love are the wide fender flares. Maybe if I could afford it, I'd get an M3 and swap bumpers with a 328i M Sport (I guess they would have to be worked on to make them wider) and have the exhaust come on just one side like the 328i.
I sat in an F80 and it felt very nice. Best steering wheel I've seen in a long time. I think it's the same for M sport models?

Virtually the same yes. There is a difference in the middle spoke that connects to the center hub

Everything works to make this thing look utterly spectacular - and I do mean everything - except for that dopey-smiley face frontal DRG that makes it look like a stoned cartoon character. Silhouette is nothing short of sensational.

It has nice silhouette, make the front and rear proper and, in lieu of the massive spoiler, replace it with a duck-tail spoiler, and I might stop bemoaning the lack of a proper bespoke sports car in BMW's arsenal. Might. (i8 aside)

^Beauty in white. :)

Which one? ;)

BMW M

BMW M GmbH, formerly known as BMW Motorsport GmbH, is a subsidiary of BMW AG that manufactures high-performance luxury cars. BMW M ("M" for "motorsport") was initially created to facilitate BMW's racing program, which was very successful in the 1960s and 1970s. As time passed, BMW M began to supplement BMW's vehicle portfolio with specially modified higher trim models, for which they are now most known by the general public. These M-badged cars traditionally include modified engines, transmissions, suspensions, interior trims, aerodynamics, and exterior modifications to set them apart from their counterparts. All M models are tested and tuned at BMW's private facility at the Nürburgring racing circuit in Germany.
