No one said the effect that a given chemical has on amphibians automatically translates into the same exact effect on humans (not even Alex Jones). People are raising valid questions from empirical evidence and drawing hypotheses which demand further investigation. Like, having an open scientific mind, you know? Claiming with no evidence there is a 0% chance something dangerous for animals might also be dangerous for humans is just as dumb as claiming with no evidence there is a 100% danger equivalence. (Which raises the question as to why then would major labs keep testing medical drugs on animals if there is no correlation whatsoever with humans? They must all be time and money wasting idiots according to this rationale). When in doubt, those who aren't ashamed of asking questions are usually better off in the long run than those who are afraid of finding unpleasant answers; like, say, that poor delusional Franz Reichelt who jumped in his winged suit off the first floor of the Eiffel tower in 1912 despite inconclusive mannequin testing, certainly pushed by an inflated ego resulting in blind temerity, crashing like a pancake.

'Tinfoil hat' / 'conspiracy theory' claims with no further demonstration are just lazy nonarguments aimed at deflecting a potentially unsettling issue without having to actually answer the claims with facts and logic, as if the answer was self-evident. Claims which can ultimately be proven or disproven by investigation and experimentation, which is the whole point of drawing hypotheses, but certainly cannot be concluded arbitrarily and beforehand.

So if we are being logical and rigorous, then raising concerns after a study such as this is released cannot be discarded and brushed aside with disdain and zero evidence, yet this whole gay frog meme ridicule and lies (that frogs do not switch genders, when the study in fact shows they do) perfectly embody the intellectual scam the media and their mouthpieces are perpetuating with regards to a whole range of subjects.

PS: it's quite funny how yesterday's left was all about questioning every established dogma, leaving no stone unturned, embodying the healthy, skeptical, pragmatic spirit of Enlightenment (up to and despite the disastrous excesses of the French 1789 Revolution and 1968 color revolution), while today's left is all about raising high walls of political correctness around certain areas it deems unquestionably sacred, and virulently attacks by shaming and name-calling whoever commits the blasphemous act of demanding that the standards of logical reasoning and empirical methodology be complied with whenever an official truth is being pushed.
