While i respect your view mate..

The S class interior is solid brilliantly executed and easy to use evrerything and i am talking from my own experience of my Dads car which i drive a lot whenever he is not around i use it.The interior we have is standard grey with standard wood and the car is just awesom i cant fault much except i feel there should be more mini or small compartmants to put stuff. And i have sat in a & which is also very good interior but i felt it was a bit normal Bmw interior as in simlar to X5 the switches were very nice it was one with the titanium type finish..but in terms off quality the S was ahead even though it was older the & was new and the cup holder seemed like it was broken or going to break soon..

I've driven and been driven in many MB S Class, not the facelift yet, and I can hand on my heart say the interior materials and qualities, whilst practically negligible due to the craftsmanship and execution in both, in the BMW 7 Series are superior to that of the S Class... And I drive a 750i to work every day so I'm well aquatinted with the quality of the BMW

Clearly MB liked the interior of the E65 to all but copy and paste it, minor details and execution aside, into the W221...

Aint that expected?
When its the oldest of the bunch..

Dont make me remind you what the E65 interior looked like towards the end of its life..

You don't have to remind me, the E65 interior was also dead boring, S copied the design and got the same. Hopefully next S will move away from the design.

I am sure S has a lot of nice materials. I was talking about the design, it is just boring, especially after seeing the newer interiors in 7 and A8.

Not even close bro..i'm not gonna turn this to a pic war coz i'm pretty sure u've seen the tons of pix of the S that easily looks better than this.:D
Haha yeah man, it's just that i don't have the courage to admit it. :D

This is the same story as before, as always. The S-Class starts to age beautifully as a gang of newer competitors arrive...yet it hold its own until the new one arrives and sends them all back to the drawing board. 3-Series does the same thing in its segment. New A8, XJ, 7-Series so now the S-Class and Lexus LS have to fighter harder to keep their leading (sales in the U.S.) positions. For once all these cars are brilliant and there isn't a clunker in the bunch. There was a time where the Audi, BMW, MB (W220) and Jaguar were all suspect in quality etc., but now all these cars are first rate.

Mehh, it's outdone, haven't you guys heard of something called good taste :D

There are millions of S-class photos on the net, its an old car and been on the market for many years but still 'Artist' you managed to post some really bad photos, except for one. Your war failed just when it started :D

Artist, you almost brought tears to my eyes with those outstanding S-class photos. That car is MAGNIFICENT in all respects. Anyone who disagree should automatically be pimped slapped.

That is the best car Germany has...especially if you put the 65 AMG engine in it.

Eh, as far as I'm concerned the W201 and W204 had their respective generations licked. The E90 didn't even look good until it's facelift.

Both have pro and cons - can look at all these S-Class photos, and damn, this thing looks fabulous, but then I see a photo like this…

…and the F01/F02 is my favourite again. :D They are both so gorgeous!!
