Vs Best Exotic Sports Car Company - Porsche vs Lambo vs Ferrari

Right now Ferrari offer's many choices in cars where as Lambo only offers two choices.

Ferrari does offer more then Lambo atleast right now. It's really hard deciding between the two because other offer different approaches to the exotic sports car segment. Lambo has that Raw Power type look where Ferrari tends to have such passionate and dramatic designs with amazing performance.

I also don't consider Porsche to be exotic so it's down to Ferrari and Lambo for me. The Ferrari wins cos it's still the most original and purist of the two. You can't see any Fiat in a ferrari, but you can see alot of Audi in a Lambo.

Being "better" and exotic are two completely different things. You can't have a poll about one and conclude the other.

And as far as exotics go, Porsche exotics are infinitely better than Lambo exotics. In-fi-nite-ly:

A Carrera S or Carrera or Cayenne or Cayman/Boxter isn't exotic, but a GT2, GT1, GT3 RS and Carrera GT ARE exotic, and imo unmatched by any poser Lambo...that Reventon is a freaking joke!!!

Polls NEVER prove anything. All it does is give a general idea of members perspective, which is what I was trying to accomplish.

This wasn't about proving once and for all which one is the best. You all are reading way TOO much into this.

Lol...Never in my 6-7 year HISTORY of being apart of GCF and GCF have I ever been questioned so much about a poll.

All you have to do is vote for the Best Exotic Sports Car Company. I have seen several of you talk as though Porsche is on Lambo and Ferrari's level. This poll is to see if everyone agrees with them. If you want to vote on another level or reason then so be it.

My personal opinion is that Porsche has strong engineering and a good track record. On the other hand except for cars like the Porsche Carrera GT they will NEVER compete with the likes of Ferrari and Lamborghini.

It's important to define the nature of the competition when you say that Porsche will never compete with Ferrari or Lamborghini?

If it's purely at the most subjective level of poseur ability, sadly the 911 [Porsche's most exotic car at the moment] can't hold a candle to the ogle-factor of a Ferrari or Lamborghini when it comes to Joe Public looking on.

Like I said in the Italia thread though, it depends on who is looking. I will disregard an LP560-4 sooner and spend more time looking at a 911 GT3 RS. It's just a more special car in my eyes. Because, it does more with less. But that's me - I am pretty much a less-is-more kind of person. I'm less about the flash and more about the dash.

That said, the new 997.2 Turbo is uber cool and plenty fast enough. Also, I'm quite sure that the 997.2 GT2 is going to be absolute ballbreaker of a hardcore, muthasucka. Vicious, twin-turbo'd power delivery, widow-maker reputation, Corvette ZR1 rivalling acceleration... Pretty exotic in my eyes.

Best in what way???? If you mean 'most rare' with 'best', Lambo wins, since they sell the least amount of cars.
But best driving, or even best looking, Lambo finishes last. It's that simple

^It is completely up to every member to vote exactly how they want in this poll as they do in every “Best” poll I have created it. It is up to you all on what criteria that you want the cars to be judged on. All I ask is that you base it off the companies not just a particular car in the photo. If you want to vote on engineer, design, exclusivity, name recognition or whatever it is up to you. Take the word “Best”, “Exotic” and “Sports Car” however you want.

Now as far as my ratings

Porsche – The company makes outstanding sports cars, which are regarded as some of the best drivers cars around. The company showed that they can produce Exotic cars with the Porsche Carrera GT. The car symbolized what the company was capable of and it did an outstanding job with engineers, driving experience and design. On the other hand overall I do not see Porsche as in the same league as Lamborghini. Yes, it has the capability to achieve it to the exotic level, but not enough to keep it there.

Ferrari – Ever since I was a child, I have loved their cars. Just looking at one on the street can cause one to drool. The pure essence of beauty and an exotic nature runs through there company into there past, present and future car models. There performance is absolutely flawless, which backs up their models beauty.

Lamborghini – When it comes to exotic Lamborghini rules with an iron fist. There cars are masculine and provide profound performance. Nothing says I have arrived like a Lamborghini. Just to see one driving is an absolute honor and privilege.

Even though the 458 is the best looking sports car on earth at the present time…Even though the ENZO was freaking fantastic….Even though the Porsche Carrera GT was the best look Porsche ever produced….My vote still goes to Lamborghini the absolute BEAST of Exotic Sports cars.
