Poll Battle within: AMG GT vs S-Class Coupe vs SLS AMG

all three are very very good looking and among the best exterior wise!!! I vote the S class because it looks real classy, gorgeous and fast. Big cars never looked better

sls by a hair..i dont like the sls lights and the lack of rear 3/4 mirrors, though i understand the design decision, it is the gullwing doors that allow it to edge out the GT. nothing special about the s-class coupe in my book.

Understandable. But really, this should have been very different. IMO, MB screwed up a bit design wise. I was expecting much more of this. Too much hype. Like the iPhone.

Understandable,????, maybe for you. Come out in your i8 , and I in a GT , down Rodeo Drive, and you will see 9 out 10 women jump along with the guy of the Merc, what we see from Daimler is better every time ,and gets weird and weirder from BMW.

Interior: AMG GT for unique sportiness (S-Coupe is opulent, but is also in the S-Class obviously)
Exterior: SLS for the shear proportions and classic bones. A head turner for sure.

You honestly can't go wrong with any of them.

This is a tough one...

But in terms of design and proportions, the AMG-GT seems the most cohesive despite the front being a bit questionable. It also captures and reinterprets the original 300SL's spirit the best despite not having the iconic gullwing doors.

Which one would I choose? Probably the SLS. As aforementioned, the doors are iconic and give a nice sense of occasion. But more importantly, the 6.2L V8 is probably one of the best engines (along with Lexus V10, Carrera GT V10, 918's V8, all the Porsche Flat-6, BMW M5's V10 and E39 V8, Ferrari V8's/V12) to have come out in the last 20 or so years. I am not too fond of the front fascia though.

Honestly? The S-class coupe for me. It wowed me way more than the AMG GT. Not to mention that it's far more usable from a daily standpoint, with extra room.

The C217 with an AMG GT-inspired dashboard architecture would be something very close to absolute perfection in my book.
