Dont get me wrong , what I meant was if the previous designer was still designing the new models , would it have been better or not ? That was what I meant , no doubt the newer models are more fresh and dynamic .

The previous generation BMWs look rather boring compared to the new ones don`t thay.
The reason I voted for the previous generation is because the E39
M5 happens to be one of my favorite sports sedans!!

I can`t complain about the B7 though, this is quit nice!

As far as I know, prior to joining BMW, Bangle designed the Fiat Multipla - there can be no uglier car - and no forgiveness for that design.
Having said that, amazed at how the new Beemers have grown on me.

Not true. Not everything Top Gear says is true!

I will say more: many things said in top gear are BS, this shows is sympathic and well made but sometimes when it comes to test cars, things cab be pathetic specialy these last years with all their anti-Bangle.

I'm pretty sure the only car Bangle had a major hand in while at Fiat was the Fiat Coupe, with it's dramatic 'slashed' wheelarches.

Thanks for the correction - you are correct, I heard that Bangle designed the Multipla on Top Gear.
I tried to check out the truth on google but whilst there are plenty of references to Bangle/multipla, none seem that authoritative.
I guess we will never know who designed the Multipla - no one seems to be taking credit!
