There are those cars that are regarded by many as rubbish or dull. But even with the bad reputation, you do have a soft spot for them. So feel free to say, which car that you know you shouldn't like them, but you do.

I have a soft spot for this one:

Horrid grille and a rust bucket despite having galvanised body. But, it's spacious, it's rear wheel drive and I have this weird dream of buying one and fitting a 5.7 LS1 V8 in it.

It never did for Infiniti what it should have done. I loved it because at the time it was one of the most powerful V8s in it's class (Even over the 745 and W220). The rotating headlights were nice and the interior was Unique. I still miss it today hoping that one day Infiniti will bring it back and put Lexus in it's place once and for all.

Engineering wise it was never considered a bad car. On the other hand it was always taunted for it's looks and banglized design language. It was constantly attacked for it's controls being to complicated. I always loved the design it actually gave me a soft spot for BMW, which I never had before.

The car was remarkable from a technology stand point. One of the most beautiful sedans ever made. Plus it brought forth the S65 AMG. The only thing that hurt it was the quality. But I still loved it and always will.

The car weight 10,000 lbs! When gas was reasonable it cost $70 to fill up. It turned to $150 to $200 when prices reached $4 a gallon. I still loved it though. It's massive size only made it more attractive to me. Never got to drive one, but I have been driven in it. I would say it's a gentle beast with a powerful roar. Miss it every day.

I don't think these two are bad cars. Come to think of it, they were not even regarded as bad cars.

I don't think so either. The 745i got hit based on looks and the S for quality. Neither was a bad car "engineering wise".

The car is absolutely fantastic! fabulous looking, comfortable seats, love the night panel function and would really love to drive one of these…but sadly the diesel engine is terrible. 177 hp 3.0 litre engine…problems with the transmission, turbos etc…, the petrol engines are a bit better, but also problems with the turbos and bad service…

This is my poison. I learnt how to drive in a 305. My poor Ma kept yelling at her mechanic because she complained about a fuel leak & he couldn't find anything wrong. She'd fill it up, drive home and the next morning a quarter tank was gone! Sorry Ma, it was me!

But I loved this car. It knew the way home from all the clubs! It was handed down to me and I sold it to a cretin who couldn't handle that awesome power that could shame a Veyron. The punk promptly wrapped it round a pole!
