The Panamera is king here. It can comfortable transport 5 adults while trashing a Lamborghini Gallardo on the highway. You can impossibly ask for any better practicality and performance. It's a car that does the impossible and ticks all boxes -- Truly a sports car for four.

I thought you said for five ?

...and how are you going to blow past a Gallardo on the highway with a full load of passengers (who might I add, won't be sublimely comfortable 3-wide in the back seats as you make it sound)? How about the Gallardo trashing the Panamera which you get off the highway?

And yes you can find a better practical yet performance orientated vehicles, 4-door performance sedans such as the M5, E63, RS6 come to mind..and for even more practicality, there are the wagon/touring/avant versions of these models.

What box does the Panamera tick that the 3 vehicles above don't ? (apart from trying to be 'unique' and a tad faster)

Panamera is one of the ugliest vehicles on the market. I would the X6 M in a heartbeat over it. Front's superb, back is buglike.

I know there a die-hard BMW fans out there, but this is not even close, Panamera Turbo is a no-brainer.

By miles, X6-M for me! Panamera is an ugly-ass car & beside being ugly, it's expensive! X6-M is a phenomenal vehicle with fun all over it!

Frak, I'd so have a Panamera Turbo: I don't have to look at it when driving; the cockpit is just marvellous, it's got an excellent centre of gravity, a fantastic transmission and the best sounding turbo V8 out there...

I am really amazed by the X6M 0-200km/h time of 15.5s

It is as fast as a CLS63 or M3 E92.It is faster than CAYENNE TURBO S and ML63 too.

I might not like the rear of the Panamera, but it's FAR better than the X6M as whole.
