What a difference a gearbox makes. The A6 Avant won its first test, and the same strengths of a big boot and high-quality interior remain. But the Multitronic auto isn’t as good as the manual, while a lack of practical touches goes against the Audi in this encounter.

I'll be glad when Audi finally drop the multitronic from their lineup. Other than that blip I reckon the A6 Avant is perfect but both these two rivals are just as good, take your pick and make your choice because there ain't a bad one among them.
